| Im kind of new to this whole sniper rifle thing, and the gun that i have, an AGM MP001, may also be called something else. The picture in my sig is the exact gun that i have. I was wondering if anyone else had the same gun, and if so could you give me some basic modifications i could make to increase fps and overall accuracy? | |

| It favors the JG Bar 10 , I wonder if the internals are the same . | |

| Like i said, I'll be much more helpfull descriptionwise once i get it tomorrow. I have to say I'm slightly afraid to just take the whole thing apart and try to upgrade it though. I paid $130 for the gun and scope package, so I don't want to do anything to kill it. | |

| Oh thats not much , considering , I payed 180 or maybe 160 for my set , ( or somewhere around in there anyway ) , upgrades will cost you a pretty penny . But these forums do have some tips on free upgrades , that is if the internals resemble the JG Bar 10 . | |

| The thing is I haven't gotten into the whole hardcore, go to big milsim games, type. I would love to but i can't seem to find any fields close to me. So i end up playing in the woods behind my house with a few other guys. Because of this I don't need a gun that is ridiculous, like some of the high end snipers, and the kids i play with probably wouldnt let me play if i upgrade my gun too much. So i have to balance my need for a sick gun and their need for fair play. I have found a few good mods so far though | |

| Lone Wolf that was my thinking exactly. I'm probably going to end up just keeping my gun stock untill I find someone with the same gun or who knows what they are doing. | |

| Well AGM there are dis-assembly guides out there I learned how to do things with my guns on my own. As long as your active on forums and the internet for airsoft info you should be ok to do it in a few months. Very important, you also need the right tools oh and www.mechbox.com I THINK has a breakdown guide of a JG BAR-10 which I assume is similar to the mp001 internally | |

| Ok on our gun you could file down he cylinder head, but when I went to do this I found that on the cylinder there was now plastic head, you can see it in seabass's mod. So that mod will not work. So about the only thing that you can do is put a tightbore barrel in the gun. But some might argue that its not worth putting a barrel in a gun that costs half the price as the gun. (Or More!!). | |

| i really like this gun DJ has it and it is alot better than my well vsr-10 and it almost the same as the Bar-10...because AGM is owned by JG and is a very good company and if i were to decide between a Well VSR-10 and a AGM MP001 I would get the Mp001. | |

| I've been hearing a lot about "replacing the spring". I understand that all you do is replace the spring, but where can i get a better spring, and how do i find out which spring i need? | |

| You can find springs on sites that sell the individual parts such as www.airsoftextreme.com or www.airsoftatlanta.comI would look at the spring guides though on MB.com and make sure you find the right one to put our gun in the ball park of your demands | |

| to get a new spring you will need to replace you bolt, cylinder and spring guide with preferabily laylax. but like i said befoe the mp001 is not an exact vsr10 clone, and not worth it. you should get a bar10. | |

| actually im loving the MP001. It shoots accurately up to 30 yards with .20's (haven't gotten my .30's or my .25's yet) and for now that is about as far as i need it to go. I did however make a ninety yard shot with .20's, ask AGM Spotter he was with me. Of course, it was luck that kept my bullet straight that long, but i can't wait to see what i can do with .30's | |

| it has a max distance of about 100 yards before it dies. I'm saying with .20's it simply flies left or right at 30 yards. Like i said i got a 90 yard shot so i figure i can hit 50-60 regularly with .28's. I guess I'll just have to wait and see though. | |
