| Evike says that the black matrix gearbox I listed is ready for lipo, but I was thinking about going down to a 110 spring so that I don't hurt people close, but sill have decent range with the 110. Other then that I wont be doing any tuning because it is pre-upgraded. | |

| You could probably build a better gearbox than that one for the same price.
What I would do for a highspeed gearbox(without tuning just upgrads)
-Marui or CA stock spring -Bore up kit -low resistance wiring -dean's connector -Mosfet(optional, this would put you over the above price, and this would only help with trigger response) -your stock JG would work but you could always get a Systema Turbo, or even a TM EG1000
Maybe Slob could jump in on this one as far as the 'tuning' goes. I'm experimenting with my mechbox as far as the tuning goes. I have just done upgrades in the past.

| Instead of spending hundreds in upgrades on the JG M4 S-system, why not buy the high end gun first, like a TM or CA or SRC. If your going to make a poor man's systema? | |

| Actually if you are going to drop the spring down to a M110, there is no need for a reenforced GB, reguarless of the Bushing sizes, 6mm,7mm or 8 mm.
Dropping down to a 110 is an even better idea if you are going to stay with the bearing bushings. Since most Bearing bushings on the market are Ceramic, the added load from a M120 is going to cause them to wear out faster.
I will agree 100% you could build a High Speed Box with the parts that you want in it for less money. If you happen to have a spare GB laying around, you save yourself a small bundle on buying the small parts, ARL, Cut Off lever, Switch assembly. This is assuming that you have experiance in building a GB.
@Lone Wolf, Even when you buy one of the upper end AEG´s, you still are going to spend the extra cash on tuning parts later. I would reccomend the JG S-System as a good place to start for beginners when it comes to AEG tunings. It takes quite some time to get the hang of it, just getting all the ``SLOP´´ out of your gears can be a proccess that takes an hour or more, depending on the GB, GEARS, and shims used.
Nothing can be more depressing than to have dished out 400-500$$ for a higher end AEG, and then driving yourself insane getting the GB just right.
@ Sticks,
Your ideas are rock solid, the installation of the Systema Turbo, or EG 1000 would bring the ROF up considerably, just have to remember to up the battery size and capacity, SYSTEMA motors are electricity Pigs!!
djstasevich, I hope this helps, any questions, hit me up.

| Like I stated above, a one time buy on the kwa g63c matches the performance of this package and is even better and costs about 100 dollars less, therefore that is what I will look into. Please recommend batteries with a mini type connector still please. Are mini and small types the same connectors? I will be looking for a 9.6V with the highest mah possible for around 50 bucks. | |

| Mini / Small are the same connector.
Since we play long games, usualy over 2 days, we don´t use small or Mini type batteries.

| Yea I know the problem with the long games is a big one. Therefore I would just by multiple batteries or an external peq 2 style large mah battery for the long games. Thanks for the find on the batteries and charger, that will also help me by knowing that mini and small connectors are the same. | |

| A mosfet is a trigger control unit. basically you can program some to have a set amount of burst. + these devices also prevent incomplete trigger cycles that if left, could damage your gun. | |

| A Mosfet is like Lone Wolf stated, a trigger control unit, By partialy By-Passing the switch assembly in an AEG you lowwer the electrical resistance, the benifits of installing a Mosfet are, - Increases rate of fire by 15-30%. - Increases reliability of stock trigger unit. - Increases response time of trigger There are diffrent versions of the Mosfet on the market, -Active Braking -Mosfet with self resetable Fuse -Burst Mode Mosfet -Single and multiple Heat Sinks Installation of a Mosfet is a Plus, most installation plans can be found on the Net, so even an electrical wiring idiot like me can install them. | |

| Actually I change my mind. I will most likely end up buying a burst mode mosfet in the long run. | |
