how to fix a striped screw on ur gun

one of the screw holes on my bar 10 that hold the trig to the body of the gun is striped any ideas

Depending on how bad you stripped it, you might have to Re-cut the Threads.

it will screw down but i can pull it back out

Is the hole stripped out, or is it the screw,

Sounds as if you have to re-cut the threads.

Order on of those Grappit tools , it bores out the stripped or broken bolt , and then with a quick exchanging of the drill bit Grappit Patented Pending Heads , extracts the pesky little screw . All you have to do after that is just replace the bolt . Easy , and trust me these things are worth every penny . Even if you don't use it for your airsoft gun , it is good for many other things .

No he can get the screw out only it wont stay in the gun.

Ok this is what make my gun slam the screw got striped. I would suggest to go to a hardware store and bring the section of your gun, the entire back half and take of the outer barrel and bolt. I would replace all three of the screws the two holding the trigger then the one holding the barrel. I am assuming the screw striped because I took the other screw out and pulled the treads of with my hands (that bad). After I got the new ones in the gun works fine. Also remember to relube the gun because when you take out the bolt it takes of the lube. If it is the barrel that is striped you could take it to a shop unless you know how to rethread a hole (very hard) and still get the new screws it will help in the long run.
