360 games?

I am going to sell my xbox (origonal) and everything I have for it other then 5 games,6 controllers memory cards all of it along with my ps2 again selling everything. the question is I want to get a new game for the 360 something new or good older games that are played a lot not by hackers

if somebody could recommend a game that is

good online and single
co op capable from the same system
warfare
modern or futuristic
long single player so it lasts a long time

games I do not want are

Halo 3 (not yet)
crackdown
GTA 4
or the first gears of war.
or any WW2 game (I am tired of them and dis like the weapons no comments)

I am looking for these games to but I would like to know people that have played them and know they are good games
and as of right now I am leaning towards

CoD4
GRAW 2 (not to sure)
Gears 2 (a lot of my friends have the game)
Left 4 dead
far cry 2

so any help would be nice

Well if you want realism, then Far Cry 2 would be your best bet. GoW 2 was much better than the 1st(in my opinion). C0D4 gets old online and during the campaign. However I have been paying it for a long time. I don't think I have played Graw yet so no help there.

For the PC, STALKER and Americas Army are excelent games(best FPS games I have ever played).

I personally have both cod 4 and gears 2, and I have played all the other games you desired. I would definentely go with gears 2. It is my number one favorite right now. I have stoped playing every other game i own like cod 5, halo 3 for example.

well I already got Far Cry I am playing it right now it is fun a little confusing for the diamonds (money in the game) and you are out numbered from what I have played. But I would recommend this game:P

I know they had a map maker in the PC version, do they have that in the XBox version? I've only played the PC.

Yea fry cry 2 has a awesome mapmaker once you ffigure out how to use it. Graw 2 is fun. A way I use to not get outmanned in farcry is unless it is on the other side of the map I will walk off road or drive off road, it not only allowes you to walk without a random car coming in and attacking you, it also allows you to sneak up on your targets and makes the game alot easier.

You should try cod4 its not multi player capable but it s fun and if you have xbox live it is really fun.

yeah the 360 versoin does have a map maker witch is pretty cool so much crap you can do

I don't care about stealth really I go in on the assault jeep stop 50 meters or so from the guard post pull out the SVD and sniper anybody gets close I use the SAW and if there are groups of enemy's I whip out the M79 nade launcher and watch the dead bodies fly threw the air haha

I have GRAW 2 and I love it because, you can work together and communication IS key for you to succeed in any co-op and or online multi player. Gow 2 is an excellent game specially if your looking for something fun to do. Beat the game and re-play it over and over and i can never get sick of it. But Cod4 is another good game haven't really played co-op in it but it's an awesome game online.

well in September i got you all beat Call Of Duty 6..... but cod 5 is okay besides the fact its WWII and i have been sticking with Cod 4 since then and beat the game on all difficulties

Don't use the Lord's name in vain. in september I am going to get Halo 3 ODST and call it good, it looks like the top game of the year this year.

Well personally I like Call Of Duty World At War and I would get it if I didnt already have it , great solo game play , great mulitiplayer cooperative play me and my older brother Steven like it anyway , great online gameplay , realistic weaponry , great game add ons and extras , and a good story line behind it . This is the game to get for your Xbox 360 well again that is if you don't already have it and if you do look me up sometimes , I am always up for a good online game .

Yeah I can't play Halo Three Online at all , I use to could play Halo Three but apparently not anymore lol , I am so used to playing Call Of Duty World At War that it is hard to get used to and to play any other game .

Yeah lol I could seriously though Lonesniper 24 , I believe tthatt even tthough Call Of Duty World At War us Word War Two it is a whole lot more realistic than most other games about WW II

I can't wait till Modern Warfare 2 comes out. Im preordering that. I expect it to be not great, not the best game, but purely orgasmic. lol
