| alright we just started 3 months ago with a team and they somtimes pop up at my field and we airsoft, well I am a sniper bolt-action and I go 2-1 they just walk through a gate and the first combatant(we have a journalist) gets hit and down, well another guy goes OVER THE FENCE! and comes walking over he was a bit harder but he got hit behind a wall as he was reloading. WHAT WENT WRONG AND WHAT CAN WE DO TO FIX THAT?

| Well ranks don't really matter in tactics the leader does as well as sessions but classes and knowing how to play them is important. | |

| Ok I think I understand your situation. You are worried about your team's vulnerability to sniper fire, right?
Well one of the best methods of staying alive is to simply keep your eyes open. If a place LOOKS like a good "sniper's nest", then it most IS a sniper's nest. Many untrained/undertrained snipers pick the wrong place to hide. Basically, if it looks like a good spot to snipe from, the enemy is thinking the same thing.
Another thing vital to staying alive in a sniper-bogged zone is to use smoke screen. Throwing smoke into your path blocks any view of your movements. Be careful when using smoke utilities, as they can cause breathing problems.
Any fast movements, like the guy jumping over the gate, can alert a sniper to your position. Remember that stealth is the only viable way to get past a sniper in a covert fashion.
Suppressive fire on a sniper's position will make them drop their head. This will allow you a few seconds of freedom to make movements. A SAW or other MG are the most capable of performing this tast. (When in doubt, lob a tornado grenade)
Counter-sniping is the traditional, although more dangerous, method for...well...countering snipers. Assign your scout sniper/marksman for this job.
Keep cover. If a sniper is known to be in the area, use cover as much as possible. This means when making movements, know where you can dive if shots are fired. Return fire if needed.
Hope some of this helps. I rushed cuz I'm going to a party in a bit. See ya guys | |
