Asahati did at one time, but they had to stop production, it was passible with very little effort to re-chamber the gun for 22LR. | |

| People make an M40a1, that picture is of an M40a3 which has no maker. There is a stock out by a company called Fortress, it is made for a TM VSR but it has a nasty habbit of breaking at the bolt sleve(indentation where the bolt rests). It is also out of production and I doubt they will start making it again. You may be able to find one but they ran around $350 for the stock alone. Tanaka makes a M40(fake wood stock) and a M40a1, both are out of production but if you can find one I would pick it up. It still has the adjustable gas system that makes Tanaka's so great. | All of those RW customs use the fortress stock too BTW, the customs wont be back in stock unless Fortress starts production again.

| I'll bet you could find a custom stock that could be swapped out on a Tanaka or KJW M700 model. Don't quote me on that, but i'll bet it could be found with some intense searching. | |
