shooting range

so today i went to the shooting range for the first time (greatest experience ever O_O)
i shot an M-9 Berretta (9mm) and an AK47 (7.62) it was so much fun i even got a video. ill post it up some time

yeah it was a great experience. although i was super nervous after i went through my first clip so i just stopped. my hands were shaking like crazy haha. but i felt more comfortable after

We shoot with an ex SEAL once in awhile
he brings
.223 unkown mag fed bolt action
military 870 with flash supressor
He says civilian guns kick like 3 times harder than military.

yeah it was great i loved every second of it. i hope to do it again asap. maybe even buy my own gun but i think i have to be 21 correct?

21 for sidearm and 18 for rifle/shotgun

NoNeed2Hate, I checked out your video and I have to comment on what great muzzle control you have. See, airsoft is a viable real-steel training method

As far as purchasing your own firearm...you cannot buy one under the age of 18 (shotgun, rifle) or 21 (handgun, large-bore) in most states BUT if one of your parents or a legal guardian buy it for you...then transfer the firearm to your name, you can legally claim ownership of it. Go to your local gun store (or any outdoor, sporting goods, or hunting0 store) and ask about it. They'll be sure to help you out and choose the best firearm for your needs.

My personal opinion would be to look into a 9mm of some sort.
The 9mm is a great multipurpose round for target and competitive shooting, not so much for personal defense...but I doubt thats what you want it for. They are relatively cheap, easy to find, and because they have a manageable recoil...you'll be able to shoot for hours without 44 Magnum induced hand-cramps

Keep your powder dry and your rounds on target.

my grouping was all center mass. this was a scoring target. so the middle was 10 etc. 9 out 0f 10 shots were in the 10 area and 1 was in the 9

nice, I shoot a mossberg double barrel 20 gauge and I now have two .22 rifles, one semi auto and one bolt action. not exactly much, but enough for me.

You should ask to shoot a 1911.45 they kick butt

The 30-06 is is the hardest kick you may ever face .308 is like a orgasmic experience its just the perfect recoil and the .270 is nothing and my 12 gauge hits hardest.

Other way around for me i took my real arms training and brought it to airsoft.

And the SEAL we know is used to the M82 with its fancamafied spring system.

ummm actually this isn't good from airsoft. i have never held an airsoft pistol. sooooooo yeah im just pro . also there is no recoil in airsoft guns. (not trying to start airsoft vs. real guns war)
