It looks good other than the fact that it might be a little bulky.

I'm geussing tactical as in part time dm part time sniper, i would ditch the molle gear and get a tac belt and lighten up your load. last keep you glock, think about how often you use you side arms anyways. I'm assuming tactical sniper mean you want to be in the fire fight so go with a dmr not the bar 10 unless you can cock the gun in .2 seconds it won't be any good plus regulations say you have to be about 50-75 feet away from before shooting with a rifle like that.

Ok well everything i have on there im keeping. No way ever will i get rid of my glock. Im getting the Bar-10 because i want to be an odd setup. I currently own an A&K SR-25 and don't like it too much. It had some problems from the start. So i may sell that on Ebay. But the reason for molle is because i may be up close to the action than a normal sniper. So body protection is appreciated. In the back molle hydration carrier i may keep the 2 scorpions in it to change out for the bar 10.

You just sound like a DM to me. If you look at pictures or soldiers/marines/airmen in the early stages of Baghdad and or any other big town, there were quite a few snipers running around with PASGT/Interceptor armor and Alice gear on. I have not seen a single picture of a British sniper without some sort of armor on while in Iraq... Same goes for German, Italian, any other coalition snipers.

Pic reference: "tactical sniper" Vhw9xd
"tactical sniper" 017-01
"tactical sniper" 33a7axi
"tactical sniper" Iraq6046

I hope you get the point.

Have fun with it, just know its not going to be very easy to move in that plate carrier...

true, i know itll be quite a load but i may strip down the vest when playing smaller games, but probably when playing longer multi hour games with larger forces and larger fields i will keep it all on for the supplies needed, possibly food and survival gear posted in a thread awhile back.

Yeah, I play DM for our team, I carry a light MOLLE vest with a 1day bag for water and food, this allows me to scout with ease, is light wieght and the vest keeps me safe when I get lit up by some idiot with a SAW at almost point blank

exactly, ya see once i went to represent my team against a group of plinkers in their "field", i was alone no one else i really knew. and they play get shot until you give up, well i decided to make the bad decision of wearing only a long sleeve shirt and my chest rig. BAD. lots of fast .12 gram bbs flying at you with a thin shirt on and the temp 30 degrees and too fun. hehe, thats my reasoning for vest.

P.S. i may also add a bit of under armor underneath

Umm ok if you want a protective vest then don't get the molle version, get somthing cheaper but still give protection, also keeping pouches on the front is very uncomfortable when prone, plus a risk of breaking your stuff. Thats why i would recomend a belt.

Yeah I didnt get real MOLLE since it wasn't neccasary, just some cheap knock of stuff with webbing for attaching pouches, and thick enough to not feel .25's at 400fps from point blank.

exactly, I wouldn't pay the amount for real molle unless I was actually going to use an aeg, and I knew that it will be perfect to carry the stuff.

Even if you do use a AEG(I use a CA SL8) why on earth would you pay for the real stuff? if anyone can explain why you should drop that kind of cash for airsoft please enlighten me..granted I spend tons on the rifle but thats a different story

yeah your right, haha I see no use either, I mean I'm using a tactical belt that isn't even a tactical belt it's a fanny pack that I fit all my pouches on to. I guess if you really wanted to replicate a real troop I guess you could

I understand molle is for aeg's but in order for me to use this to the aility i want im gonna need molle. that back hydration carrier is needed for me. I will probably not be lying down too much due to the intention of the class. So thats also why im going light on the pouches but will still need a few.

yeah, just don't pay over 30 bucks for plain vest, it will be more with pouches...if you realy want you can get one with pouches in for around 26 but I wouldnt recomend them.

Thanks for the idea, I'm thinking about doing what you guys do, except I will have to stay behind my team by about 50 to 75 feet, because state airsofting here, you can't shoot an bolt action rifle over 500fps any closer then 75 yards, aegs, can go up to 475fps but will be in a red zone 300 to 400 you can shoot from 20feet plus, any thing under 20 feet, you have to yell BANG or whatever, i usually say ''your dead F***** take it'' so i won't buy any vests with webbing.

Zane, allot of people buy real EI and BHI stuff 1: because it has a lifetime warranty, 2: use it as a active shooter rig as well, 3: have some sort of real job where they need their own gear, or 4: they collect it....

I bought my real rig because the resale is much higher and dependable than any of the clones, and for 1,2, and 4 of the above reasons...

Look into PACA soft armor if you want something to protect you body. I wear one because it looks cool, and it keeps my rig from sliding around on my body. The replicas sell close to $45, but you can sometimes find them cheaper through private sales(picked mine up for $20).
