Most commonly seen/used airsoft rifle

i want to know how common some rifles can be when you go out so post what rifle you have seen and we will see which is the most common rifle used in airsoft

m4/m14/m16/AK

In SoCal it's:

1. M4
2. AK-47 / AK-74
3. G36
4. JG Bar 10
5. M14

In New Mexico, it's M4, M16, MP5, and G36. I have seen a few M3 Shotguns used as primaries as well. Most common sidearm is by far the Beretta M9.

M4/M16 and AK47 are the two most popular airsoft guns. Can't really think of much else that compares to them in popularity.

From what I've seen it's

1. M4/M16/AR-15
2. AK
3. MP5
4. G36
5. Umm.. I don't see more than one of any other type of gun besides those four.

Surprisingly enough, I have never seen any Kalashnikovs at my field, other than rentals. It's all just the bland ol' Stoners and HKs.

Well just because it's the most common doesn't mean it's our first choice... at least not mine. In fact, because it is so common I'd rather not have an AR-15. It's always nice to mix it up a bit, have something that no one else does... unless of course they see it and go running to buy it.

I think it's the most popular because A) it's a kickass American rifle and B) it's so upgradable and accesorizable (made a new word )

i would of thought the ak47 would of been more common due to its background and being very well known but maybe DrummerBoyz95 is right people don't go for the most common as they want to have a unique gun, personally i own russian made weapons i wouldnt use an m4 as i don't like them but hey thats just me

Also a lot of new guys (usually like 12yrs old) go online, see tons of ARs, think they're all the same and say "Oh this must be the best. CLICK." Either that or they go to Big5 and it's the most appealing rifle available.

However I'll use any airsoft gun I can get my hands on. BUT I didn't say I would like it

No no, I don't regret it, I just meant I probably could have found something better for a little more money, if I did my research. It's a great starter package, especially for the money.

Hey, no worries Black_Dragon, I've been there, haha

My loadout is a JG G36C and a gas powered WELL G55 (MP5K) named Mary.

I bought the JG G36C because I wanted a rifle and it was the only one I had the money for at the time. It is also very durable, solid, and a "Watch your language" good rifle. Excellent rate of fire, high fps (around 400), and cheap. I bought the G55 because I needed a full auto sidearm quick and it was the only one at my local gun shop. It, as well, is an excellent little hunk of plastic and metal. Rate of fire is 20-30 rounds a second stock, but after I installed an enhanced loading muzzle, the rate of fire went up to about 35-40 rounds a second. I have no idea why, haha. It's also insanely reliable and has a very easy take down.

Yeah i think that's only because you have to join some national airsoft thing to be legal to own something other then a green machine. On the flip side they do standout

oh thats handy lol i run through the forest and i spend a ton on my camo and the one item that gives it away is the fact that my gun glows in the dam dark!!!!!!! lol yh u do but that costs alot of money to join membership.

jarhead u seem to go for the more off the branch guns there, do you like german weapons?

Haha, actually, I'm more of a fan of Fabrique Nationale's weapons, my favorite being the beautiful FN FAL. My owning HK replicas is really just a coincidence. I will say, however, that I like the HK designs. I keep switching back and forth for my next gun, but I am certain I do not want another HK.
