Airsoft Sniper! L96! GOOD GUN?

Is this gun good?

I am an experienced airsoft player, and I have a pretty good aim. Right now, I have an Echo 1 Stag 15.

Thats my gun.

But I'm making a local airsoft team out of a bunch of my friends at school. And I want to get a sniper.

I have been looking for a couple days now. And I have heard mixed ideas.

First I heard that AirSplat.com was a really good site. Then, I came to this site an a user recalled that "you never get anything good out of that site", or something along those lines. There first link that i posted is a WELL L96 SNIPER RIFLE, with scope and bipod. You can look at the specs, it looks like a really nice gun. But, i heard that AirSplat was bad, so I went to AirsoftGI.com, which I've heard nothing but good reviews, and there is only the L96, no bipod or scope.

And I REALLY want a scope and bipod.

Yea I've only heard bad things about airsplat from people here. I've also seen many people suggesting the Echo 1 ASR ( http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=6572 )

It depends. If you don't want to/can't upgrade the gun, don't get a BAR-10. really crappy gun when its stock.

Try this one. You can buy a bipod for just a couple bucks extra.

that gun comes with a bipod and scope there Capt, and MacHacker, almost all L96 springers are the same. That UTG one works just as well as the WELL one, I myself have a MB05 from airsplat, the first gun I got, and it lasted me a good time.

I only linked it to him because it came with a scope and wasn't sold by airsplat

hah well whatever floats your boat, just so he knows though, it does come with a "Watch your language" ton of accessories.

Ahh. Yeah. I was looking into it before, but I decided to get an AEG instead. Gonna get a CYMA AK-105 as soon as someplace "Watch your language" has it in stock.

Okay, so it's either the UTG MK96 Rifle, which i'm leaning towards, or the ECHO 1 ASR, which I've heard good things about, also. Which one?

Its up to you, but remember that the ASR has an LE stock, and since you had the stag 15 it will probably be extremely comfortable, but if you buy it off ASGI you'll have to get a scope separately.

For the scope I would recommend an NC star 3-9x40. 3-9 zoom, and a 40 millimeter wide lense. Cheap and effective.

I found the same one that was not rubberized, that was $25, will that work?

It will, but I'd go for the rubberized. Looks a lot sleeker, and has protection from scratches.
