Tavor tar 21

I need to find a tar 21 for less than $360, because i have a slim chance at getting this dark earth, because my parents think its too much but im still trying to convince them that ive been wanting this gun for awhile. so ive heard that CYMA and TSD or something are gonna clone the tar, so i need yr help guys cuz if they clone it ima buying it.

Yes there are a lot of rumors (albeit, ONLY rumors) going around that Cyma will clone the Tavor...but I'm skeptical.
There's really nothing to suggest that they are actually doing it. I doubt they will...

Ares failed at it entirely in my opinion...and I would love to see a more reasonably priced Tar replica by Cyma or Echo 1.
If anyone can make a decent TAR 21 replica, it's Cyma. But I'm not seeing it in the near future.

...and we really can't say that Cyma is on a course to long-term survival as a business either at the moment.

That is my opinion, others think differently.

Tavors are really nice rifles, but I agree with durkee. They failed horribly with them.

Very cheaply made.
The body has a very Chinese-plastic feel to it...with jutting mold seams that shout "CHEAP CHINESE CLONE!!! NOT POLYMER AT ALL, NOT EVEN CLOSE...YOU SUCK, AMERICAN FOOL!!!".

That was my main complaint about it.

Stock ROF is "decent"...but the poor FPS/accuracy is not what you want from a $500+ replica.
It was lacking...

Back when I frequented SC Village and was affiliated with the Outlawz (airsoft team)...one of the older members got the Ares Tavor immediately after it was on the market.
He was furious over it...felt he had just been ripped off. I got my hands on it at the zero-range and I understood why he felt that way. I'm just not a fan of it.

As always, I've only handled an Ares Tavor once...so I can't positively say that this wasn't just a lemon.
But I have no desire to buy from Ares after touching that thing.

The sight is probably the worst part, but the gun did not preform at the level of the money required.

Exactly. Forgot to mention the sight.
Plus you couldn't even take it off without breaking the gun.

It was just gimmicky...like they were just throwing crap on to make you feel like you actually bought something decent.

Save your money, no matter who produces this gun, it has `` FAIL ´´ written all over it !!

The design flaws alone should be enough to scare any player away from this gun, if the body is not being made from thick ABS or even better zink/magnesium alloy, the even slightest mishandling is going to break the gun.

I'll just add though that although i love the real Tavor the bad things i've heard about the ARES version doesn't do the real steel one justice. I'd stay far far away from it no matter what version you're wanting. If you like bullpup designs though i'd suggest looking at the ARES or G&G L85, much better made guns.

halo 3 and mw1 and 2 just suck in general. people need to play some real games like half-life or counterstrike. games that actually take skill hehe

anywho! i had a friend who had an ARES TAR. he really hated it and was trying to get rid of it for the longest time. he was even selling it super cheap for like 160ish. he just wanted to get rid of it so badly. (he hardly used it too)

If it's bullpup style you want, check out the L85, as ilft99 suggested, the AUG, and.... dangit, I'm having a bit of a brain fart at the moment.

Real Sword Type 97 although it's a little out of his price range. Don't think there's any nice models of a FA MAS although MPEG versions do exist.

A guy that I often airsoft with has a... Tokyo Marui FAMAS but it's upgraded, I think.

first of all you don\'t know what your talking about, half life can die in a hole, and counter ctrike is pretty much this...(hey lets spray everywhere and move the mouse like a drunk panzy, oh look an auto aim modder what fun this might be.) and ive heard good and bad things about the tar but that happens to every airsoft gun. But mostly good thigs.

are you crazy? halflife is and will always be better than halo and mw. its a classic. hehe COD, MW, and halo are pretty much the same if that is your definition of CS.

i found that halo and MW were too easy, the aiming system on MW is just like an aimbot (its much to easy to point and shoot someone)


Any bullpup AEG in general is definitely going to have some problems. for some reasons bullpops are just very hard for the airsoft companys to get right.
AUGs have gotten it down better than most other AEGs and a few L85's from various companies. but just in general bullpups are not that good unless you invest in a high end one

For bullpup, go with Echo 1 P90. If they still sell that.

BTT,

The FAMAS or TYPE 97- 97/B would be a much better investment than the TAR, both are playable right out of the box, GB last forever, tuning is easy, minimal amount of extra cash is required to increase range and accuracy.

I said it before ans I will say it again, the Tar-21 is a huge FAIL, for posing o.k, to hang on the wall even better, to not even think about---Best !!!
