TOPIC CHANGED - WHICH VEST (Mods please move if able)

Hmmm.... I have just acquired the KJW 1911 Tactical GBB, and I am LOVING it. Thing is... I want another for the cqb missions in town.. I would really like to keep it in the price range of the KJW (about 110 dollars) I might just buy another one of the same gun. But right now I am looking for variety, I would like it to be able to use the KJW 1911 hicapa mags also..

Any suggestions?

If i remember correctly KJW mags only work with KJW pistols. So you might be out of luck getting anything else but the same thing. (correct me if i'm wrong)

That may be right, I was planning on making the purchase today...Maybe I will just go with a new vest and some pouches before I take up another pistol...

honestly. you are better off buying more mags. i have two pistols, but i always ended up just using one. (its also more efficient then trying to Tequila it up)

Currently I have 3 mags and that is all my holster holds
Pending on if I purchase the new vest I will probably invest in mag pouches

Which vest should I buy? Must be molle ready, not any kind of the UTG that is all stuck on there...

Must also be able to be used with multicam...
And not super duper expensive..

may i remind you these are not milspec vests. but they get the job done. i have one of these vests and it has lasted me for a while. (1 year) and is still getting the job done today.

Have you heard anything on the vest I linked above?

one of my friends uses that one. he says its a pretty solid vest.

I believe that may be the vest for me, must put some extra pistol mags in and ill be set

just order a couple of mag pouches with it if you are ordering from there. (they are cheap anyway)
one thing to mention though is that the shipping takes a while maybe 1 and a half weeks at the least .

for multicam uniforms anywhere will do. everywhere is just as expensive.

Go for Propper brand though. They make excellent cammies. Tru-Spec is good as well.

I love my field, due to CIRAS being an actual armor carrier. If the vest is modified to weigh 16 lbs then it is considered a "ballistic vest" and shots to the vest may be ignored.

Also in addition to this thread, I need to acquire now 16 one pound weights to sew to the inside of my vest to weigh it down. Would any of you know of a whereabouts to find these?
