gearbox repair

Hey, does anyone know anything about sig 552s? I thought I had mine all working, put a new motor in, and when I tested it it made the same kind of whurring sound it did before. It's almost like the motor isn't the right size, but I know it is cause it's the same as the one that was in the gun. I had originally thought it was a stripped piston, but I replaced the piston. It's a ver. 3 gearbox. Thoughts?

No. I didn't even think about that. I'm gonna take a look at it today.

okay, so I've been working on my gun all day long. After much pointless fiddling and choice language I finally found that the problem was actually in the gears; one of them wasn't turning like it should. I got that fixed but then found that a wire broke off. It's gonna be a tough sauttering job and I gotta get some sauter before I can even try. But if I can get it back on then the gun should work just fine.
