| I hear all the time about people's different techniques to rigging and hiding traps. This forum is dedicated to pictures and descriptions of just that. | |

| I normally don't hide traps because it poses as a tripping hazard. I mainly use traps to kind of create a obstacle for the enemy to try and get around. If we were desperate for hits, we would probably hide the trap pretty meanly. | |

| I want to get a claymore for the field that we (family) pla in because the area that i like to hide and snipe from has choke points that a trap could easily cover. | |

| Ya a trap like that would be nice but if you cover it you should make shure you know where it is. The best and descreate way I can think of is to take a fallen stick and prop it up against what ever is by the trap so that way you just have to find the stick or by breaking a limb by the trap so you know where it is. Both are natural. | |

| I'm currently in the process of making 2 tripwire activated "mines". I drew up the plans last night, I know all the materials that I need, and I also got myself something to carry them in. Basically its a 7in pice of 40mm PVC pipe with a small stand(wood), and a baseplate(also wood). There are two scres that attack to door hinges that keep the baseplate and the PVC held together. You insert a 40mm bb grenade(M203 kind), and drill a small hole where the grenades firing pin is. For the launchers firing pin, you just make a 3 sided box(out of wood of corse ) drill a hole straight through the two parallel sides, add a spring to push a metal cylinder into the grenade firing pin. Attach a pull pin though the drilled hole. This will keep the launchers firing pin down, when you pull the pin BOOM a grenade shower goes off! I'll make a guide when I build her. It's really hard to explain/understand without pics. sticks | |

| actually I understand what you are describing completely. I'm a decent architect and very good at building things in a shop. Your idea sounds very good. Can you email me a picture of the plans and maybe I can add a couple of notes and maybe make it myself? Get a hold of me at: mkbonez@hotmail.com. Thank-you. | |
