| Guys, I need an LED weapons light, preferrably around 200-lumens. I plan to use it with my Glock by holding it in my non-firing hand under the barrel. I'd like to keep it under $50, but can go as high as $75. I would also like one that is shockproof and that I could mount on my rifle in a pinch. | |

| Spacing on a weaver rail is different from that of the picatinny...by about 1.6mm You wont be able to switch between rail-mounted lights.
As for holding a flashlight under your barrel, I don't recommend it. That leaves your non-firing hand complete useless in the event you need to manually re-charge the weapon (or in this case, replica).
If you're set on a handheld light, look into the G&G or OE TECH series. But you're still going to have to purchase the mount for the rifle.

| I've already got a mount for my rifle, all I have to do is remove my current light with a hex key, push in the new one, and tighten the screw. As for reloading, I'll have a 50-round mag, so I'll be good to go. I'll take a look at the G&Gs and the OE Techs. They have those on ASGI, right? | |

| Just before the lock might I sugest you use a head lamp?
If your just looking for somthing for night games that would be a better option...if your going for more standard looking the sure fire would be good....but oyu can get a amazing headlamp for a lop cheaper then that would most likly be.

That actually sounds alot better... With a headlamp, you're not having to point your weapon (or in this case, replica) at something that you only wish to illuminate...slimming the chances of accidental discharge or friendly fire. REI has some great LED headlamps with brightness settings. The one I use for backpacking is REI brand and has 3 settings...bright, hella crazy bright, and red. The red is really nice as it doesn't destroy your natural night vision. I'm pretty sure I didn't pay more than $25 for it...

| That is an option, but I wouldn't be able to wear it when I've got a hard cover on or when I'm wearing a face mask, as I usually do. I appreciate the suggestion though. | |

| I really like that one, Durkee. Thanks for the link! Do you know what the Lumen count is though? I don't see it on there. | |

Dunno, its brand new. Evike usually finishes their product description after a few days. Wait a little while and they'll tell ya. Or find the product on another site. EDIT: 230 lumens

| Ya the base system is the G&P M3 Illuminator...so it should be about the same lumen-wise. Just make sure any taclight you buy, that it doesn't say "lamp". Buy LED only. | |

| Alright, cool, I got to use a G&P M3 the other night actually. I was really impressed with it. Again, thanks for the heads up Durkee. | |
