M14 question

My brother says that all but the cyma M14 are bad because of the hop up and won't explain why can someone please explain in detail thank you

No thats wrong. The CYMA M14 is just one of the cheaper M14s other then that there are tons of good M14s. The Tokoy Marui and G&G M14s are amazing as well as the Classic Army.

I'm not quite sure why he would have said that. I have yet to hear any negative comments on the hop-up. He must be talking about the quality of the hop-up (which I doubt there's much wrong with it) because unlike many rifles, the hop-up is easy to access and quick to adjust in the CYMA M14 (right in front of the magazine, inside the mag well).

Are the JG or ECHO1 version good because i want one

Echo1 will be better then the JG but for a starter M14 its good.

I owned one and I have to say it is a very good gun. It's capable of DMR even! No problems with the hop-up that I know of. Go ahead and get one, they're great.
