Biggest Pet Peeves

Im not kidding shes dropping my grade becouse I refuse to write in block. None of my other profs have a issue with this and ive recieved many compliments...gah so frustrating. I mean I can see if she bashes my spelling..but noo she goes for my handwriting..its a art to me!...going back to block..iono it's like drawing stick figures compared..to I don't know but I conider writing a art.

Just goes to show the changesa in times, we were forced to write in nothing but Cursive, I don´t know anybody that writes in Print. Even my German Teacher wrote in Cursive, now that was a blast to learn, NOT !

We were forced to as well..the exception being they used propaganda.."only first graders use block and pencils" heh we wouldnt be cought dead with a pencil by 3rd grade.

The reason for the pencils is for mistakes so its easier to fix.

don't make mistakes xD...and realy were tough pen etiquete so even if a mistake is made its still neat.

It's been years since I've turned in any paper that was hand-written. Small in-class assignments, sure, but the only thing I've used cursive for since I learned it in 3rd grade is my signature and that annoying little section on the SAT.

And I don't use pen unless the instructor explicitly asks for pen. You'd be hard-pressed to find any human who doesn't make mistakes. Unless you're a robot Zane?

Yeah, I made up an "I" on the SAT because I forgot how to make one in cursive.

I'm the opposite, I refuse to write in cursive.. My teacher always says "Write in cursive, you're in 8th grade now," and I think "Does it matter? It should be the content not the presentation."

However that's not the case for a lot of things but in terms of handwriting it is to me.

heh yeah youll never need cursive in the US. If you ever go global you might want to use it if you don't want to look silly ;p

No it does not matter. I write in all capital print which is more professional IMHO because it is easier to read and saves time.

Yeah that's how I feel.. the teacher's mom was a hippie druggie kooky chick so she's a little weird about rules.
