Biggest Pet Peeves

When all people do in school is say, im gonna get an airsoft "gun from cod" !!!!

When people say. "I want a airsoft sniper rifle so I can get a headshawt at 500 ydz!!!"

When people argue with me when I say airsoft and paintball are sports.
When people don't listen to me and I turn out to be right in the first place
When friends and family mess around with my airsoft guns without permission (mostly little brothers, so I never keep the mag in or the battery hooked up)
When people that don't know me at all call me a nerd because "I don't make mistakes when I type"
Thats all I have...

Mine:

I've told my parents how to use the DVD player probably 50 times and they STILL ask me for help...
People who can't back up their opinions with any facts i.e. "Bombing Hiroshima was bad!". Well, if you did some research, that was better than invading Japan, so SHUT UP!
People who call G36's, L96's, etc "MK36s's," etc.
Parents that think TV is better than gaming (no video games, but you can watch TV!)
People who treat a $10 spring shotgun like it's a real rifle
NY Weather...... enough said
Friends who only ask you questions about gaming/tech because apparently that's all you know about.

If youve had any Firearms classes then you would know that your Suppose to treat any gun like its loaded and not safetied(sp) and that includeds airsoft guns of any price becuase they resemble the real thing and if you start waving it in somone face the police could get called.

Mercc, I know that, but this thing was literally the cheapest springer you could buy.

After consideration, I have realized that even cheap guns are dangerous. My friend got a chipped tooth when my other friend shot him from 50 feet away with one of those clearsoft Deagle's.

Theres idiots on both sides..the difference is the conservative idiots get much more publicity, mainly from FOX..go figure..in thier effort to further thier cause they show us crazys and make people distance themselves from the cause.

Obamas policies are nowere near that...most of the world already have such systems in place such (And many are some of the US'es greatest allies) namely most euro countries, canada realy i could go on.

Now you say Obama has social tendencies, sure health care is one of thier things but overall theres nothing that would make him a socialist. just like many republicans reluctance to support basic human rights and protections does not make them like the soviats. (refering to torture, why give fair trails to everyone, wire tapping without warrents, giving away rights for the "state"...ect)

Can everyone chill out? This is why we don't like politics on AA... I'm soooo close to deleting this thread.

Things that I don't like, Politics in general... But mostly extremists on both sides,

-ie, Obama is a socialist, hes a democrat for Don't use the Lord's name in vain.'s sake! Nowhere near total state controlled country... If you believe this read up on socialism and you will find only slight hints of this in his politics. You will actually find WAAAAAAY more conservative views than socialist view in his proposals.
-ie for the other side, People with guns are crazy and will overthrow the government... This is quite possibly the stupidest thing I have ever heard. This also runs in line of "why do they need assault rifles?" argument... This is a dead horse however so please don't bring it up.

Other things I don't like,
-the rap industry is centered around lil wayne, and goochi man. Both of which suck bawlz in my opinion... We need fresh blood to kill the massive amounts of fan boys out there!

-RS shooters who don't realize the training potential of airsoft based off of youtube video's...

-Airsofters who wear unit patches/MOS designation patches they didn't earn.

-People who mistake a ex-military man wearing his patches as some random airsofter.

-military men who think no other military people play airsoft...

-Airsoft in general right now lol.

-People who think Hati is the only country that needs financial medical and other aid from america.

-ignorant people in general...

I could go on... But I'm not going to. I don't want to see anymore flaming, if you guys want to talk politics lets keep it civil. Were all on the same side here, I wish the dem's and rep's would realize this...

Now, it would be completely different if Germany or another country's soldiers were captured, I would be for water boarding them for info, but not "torture" in the sense of what the Chinese do.
Also, if the war ended, they should be given a civilian court if they are discharged. But if the war is still on, Military Tribunal.
They will most likely be in a POW camp or Prison, but ours are not like there's in WW2.

His relationship with Chavez is actually really beneficial to the US. Its helping keep our gas prices down and our overall approval rating up in the world. Besides, what works somewhere may not work in other places. So just because we are a republic doesn't mean they can't be socialist.

They aren't socialist, they are caring for their people, which is what a government should do. Lets face it, some people do not have the same opportunities as other people. This also means they can't pay for some of the things that your parents may pay for. How many jobs have you worked at one time? Without a college degree and with a family you would have to work atleast 2 to get full coverage that my dad gets through his employer(he got through college thankfully). Just because someone can't pay for certain things doesn't mean we should say "to bad". <that is the goal, if it was a socialist health care plan then the government would be telling you how to brush your teeth and making you use only a certain kind of tooth paste...

Read Slob's post in the thread about this, also may I ask you if you have ever been drowned/almost drowned? The first color you see if a hue of blue to everything, and its not because of the water... The last color you see if black taking over everything from the outside in, kinda like tunnel vision but worse. This is rather inhumane and there are soooo much better tactics out there that we could be using.

If we're already talking politics, I'll throw in my 2 cents' worth.

America is highly polar, but the poles are very close together. Calling a democrat socialist is no more reasonable than calling a republican fascist. Both parties are fairly neutral when compared to other civilizations throughout the world and across history.

Also you say why give trails to terrorists? Why should we stoop to thier level, (this is for torture as well) the US is based on equal rights for all, why should you be allowed to bend them as you please? politicians like to use the slippery slope thing..theres no better example in my opinion of the slope then this.

Manny of us, including myself, when young get wrong info from the media and our perents---don't stay ignorant find the truth out for yourself. Haha, same for me, Zane! We get a lot of flak from the Armed Drill Team members, stuff along the lines of "You guys lay around all training session, just staring into scopes"
I'va always responded with "You guys spin guns all training session. Woohoo, that takes skill". Shuts 'em up every time, haha. I will say though, rifle spinning can be difficult.

Yeah man the spinning sucks...we used old springfields (the real stuff not the sissy composites) man they were heavy..I slammed myself in the face one time with one of those and it HURT. not to mention how heavy those suckers get after a while.

The worst part of the shooting for me was the kneeling posision...man that hurt so much.
