| If you want a full metal receiver for under $200 w/ the gun. First buy a Echo 1 or CA sportline M4, then buy one of these: http://ebaybanned.com/index.php?cPath=68_24Remember this does not include the handguard so you would actually save money if you bought the gun w/ the metal body and hand guard included. Like the A&K's | |

| Yes, however you may want to replace the gear set, as they are thin and cheap gears. | |

| Eh, i wouldn't add a metal body on a stubby.
What I would do is just buy a primary with the metal already on it. Or you could possibly find a used CA M15 for the same price range. Try looking at your local field/retailers to see if they have any used guns. Or go to craigslist. Just you have to be persistent on craigslist people have to hide their airsoft junk they sell because craigslist doesn't allow people to sell stuff like that.
And of course there is always ebay for teh rich.

| The boyi-d will be the same as a JG. And since it is full metal...for that price. I think my answer is pretty obvious. GET SUM!! | |

| OK, but again i just said it is the same as the JG. You will need some modification to have accuracy performance.
What kind of performance are you looking for. Because I usually just buy a base gun, not even care about its internals. Like i do if it includes a good gearset or already installed metal bushings but the one on the D-boy will be stock and similar to the JG. Just for the price range, your going to have to upgrade it somewhere. So why not save the money for the better parts and get the gun most similar to JG and has a metal body?

| You should try finding a used gun then. Like you could probably get a used CA M4 stock parts for about the same price range. And you'll have the extra money & the metal body.
And those gears, All gears are the same except V6, and V7. Yes those gears would work, but those are the gears ALREADY in the Dboys gun. If you want to upgrade gears get a set of hardened steel CA gear set or systema/Area 1000.
ALSO. I did forget to mention that JG/Echo 1/Dboys do have slight differences in the parts they use. From a little online research and recollection, E 1 does install CA gears in the Mechbox stock. Some E 1's even have the bushings. NOW JG some gearboxes like their V3 offer 7 mm bushing holes. As far as I know Dboys is just the most basic line. And SOME JG's do have CA Gears in them.
