Echo 1 AK47 RIS with Red Dot or JGMK36K with 3x Scope?

Note: I am also getting an Oxford Crossdraw vest, so I only have about 210 dollars to spend on a gun. So with the MK36 I was thinking about getting extra magazines. If I were to get extra magazines, I'm probably gonna get some mid-caps, but what brand are compatible with it? Also what kind of magazines, does the MK36 take m16 mags?

Go with the G36k it, I think that there is another thread on that AK-47 and a lot of people dident like it. The G36k will look better anyway and magazines are cheap and easy to find. Also the AK is getting to be like the M4 everybody wants one or has one. I still don't know a lot of people that own a G36k so you would be......... unique? Also the G36 is very customizable and parts for customization are easy to come by. For example you could turn a G36k into a G36 sniper by upgrading the inner barrel and replaceing the top rail and then you have a sniper. Or my favorite the G36 into the MG36 (see link below)

well the thing is, thats Echo 2, it may be a typo, but it may be a knock off brand, so i'd go with the G36.

Yeah, when they say Echo 2, they mean a custom Echo 1 gun.

Also, S.T.O.R.M. the G36k is quite the sexy gun. You don't see it that often during airsofting.

I would have to agree I prefer the G36k over the AK-47 for looks. The STAR mags will probably work very nicely with this gun and you shoulden't have to many problems with them.

If your looking to play as the support gunner or the SAW gunner yes! On the other hand you can get to play assualt with 2,000 rounds less for the same price. A C-mag is a good investment if you need lots of ammo or you're looking to play the SAW gunner role. If your going to buy a C-mag look into these magazines.

guys really. Both guns offer the same design gearbox. Naturally I would go with the G36 but the AK you get some metal. The one problem I have with the echo Ak's is the battery. If you want to upgrade your battery you would need to buy a PEQ and rail to mount it to. Where as the G36 has room to grow.

Get the G36K. But instead of buying a bunch of G36 mags, buy a M16 "buddy" magwell so you can share mags with team mates and the M16/M4 mag pouches are way cheaper and easier to find than G36 pouches.

Hmm, good advice guys. Can someone tell me the difference between the mags for the G36, cause there are like freaking 3 types of the gun, there's like the regular, K, C, and E.

i believe they're all the same magazines. all the mags have a feature where you can lock them together so you will have two clipped together without buying a clip.

i know, it really sucks. i just got the JG G36C, and three JG mags cost me about $60. really sucked.

Ahh, I don't know if I should get the drum mag or the set of mid caps, I mean if i get the drum mag, there's really no use for me to get a vest, but if I have the mid caps, then I won't have to wind any mags.

Yea, it's a box set of 5, when I saw it, I was like thank Don't use the Lord's name in vain. I found one. Lucky SCAR owners, they don't even have to try to find mags.

i know. i almost bought a SCAR, but the budget gods intervened.

I hate it when they put all the accessories on the SCAR but when you go to look at it, they aren't included. Like the DBoy SCAR Tactical Squad package deal. It was just the gun, while in the picture it had a red dot and a flashlight or a laser, I forget.

i know, it's stupid. they just do that so the buyer will get all freaked out, not read the fine print, and order the gun. then when the buyer gets it, they see it doesn't have all the accessories, and they get mad at the company. it's stupid. oh well, that's capitalism for ya.

It really depends on the variant of M4/M16. For example: A regular M16 mag will not fit in a SR. But get the "buddy" G36 mag well it will help yourself out a lot when you go to buy mag pouches for your tactical vest.

Assuming something like "tactical squad package" is on Airsoft Megastore. Did you know that those were optional with the gun.
