| okay, im talking about model railroading. There a few scales, Z N HO S-scale O-gauge and G. I personally have collected O-gauge and HO. the sizes i listed go from small to big http://www.joesherlock.com/08scales.gif like this. Since my dad was 1 year old has had these in O-gauge and ive grown up with them. Since i was 5 i collected HO trains and accesories. every holiday season we set up a very large layout in our basement and add lots of scenery. im currently buying more track and will make a very scenic layout profesionaly with HO's and expect to spend lots of time and money on it but its fun. please share ideas and your past with model RRing if you have any. thnks

| I used to have a couple sets of HO scale. Now they're in a box in my parents' basement. As far as replicas go, I find myself more interested in 1:1 6mm replica firearms these days XD | |

| true, i went into that mode for awhile. I went against my fvorite hobby, trains, and went straght to video games and airsoft, now ive toned both of them down a bit and am focusing more on my HO scale trains, love em to death. | |

| Yep, we are going to be done in approximately 1 week. we will have i believe 6 trains running at once and we have about 9 engines. There are going to be 4 passenger trains, a wabash cannon ball, a PRR maroon with a Turbine, a PRR green with a GG-1 and my personal favorite, the polar express. then there will be freight trains running. | |

| ill get the names of them tomorrow but i believe 2 ZW transformer from lionel, 1 KW transformer and a lionel transformer like the one in this picture http://www.learningthings.com/mmLEARNINGTHINGS/Images/LT631960.gif we use those for the trains and main street trolley, but for ALL lighting and accessories, log loader, factory with forklift guy, we use a transformer my dad made under the platform to make sure the get enough voltage. the switches are also powered through an under control panel transformer to make sure the switch fast enough instead of being powered by the track. But its all DC. No fancy DCC style stuff. Were old fashioned. | |

| haha me my dad and my bro made a track all the way around his trailer, that would starte everytime it hit the hour, it took about 20 minutes for it to get back to the start but hey it was fun, i made a small track on a 3x4ft of ply wood and it was about jons town colorado, i had a real water suply and everything even little cranes that picked up logs and put them back on the train | |

| Yeah, I used to have an HO set, but could never find time to improve it. Dismantled the table and all of the stuff's in my basement, gathering dust. Still go to the occasional shows that they have up in northern NY and sometimes in Syracuse. Won a door prize once too! | |
