| Alright so here's the deal, I was using my UTG L96 when one of my BB's became lodged in the barrel. I was a bit frustrated and not thinking clearly and since I was in the middle of a game I rushed a bit and slammed the bolt in as fast as I could. Now there is a shattered BB in the barrel and I am unable to close in the bolt. I'm thinking that I'll need a new barrel which is fine because it was the stock anyway and I was going to upgrade to a tightbore anyway, but I just need to know the best replacement barrel, how to install the new one, and how I can avoid having this problem again. Thanks. Edit: This is what I had in mind. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=3201 | |

| You could avoid problems like these by carrying a rifle cleaning kit or just a clearing rod with you in the field. I know it may be unwieldy, but it helps. | |

| are you saying the bolt is out? or that the bolt is remained inside? If you can pull the bolt out just slightly, get a cleaning rod, and see if you can push the shattered bb out of the magwell. | |

| I mean that the bolt is pulled back from the barrel and that i can see the shattered BB just inside the magwell. Problem is it won't budge with a cleaning rod and I wouldn't want to use excessive force trying to push it out because that could just cause more problems. | |

| Sounds like you broke a airnozzle trying to unjam a bb. | |

| You need to push the damaged BB out backwards, use a cleaning rod from the Muzzle end, of parts stay lodged inside, heat up a needle, push it into the BB, and then try to pull out the smaller pieces. | |
