| When the product says mock silencer/barrel extension, does that mean that it will not work with a stock barrel? | |

Depends...is your barrel threaded?

| Actually, my friend was asking, so I'm not sure. He has an Echo 1 STAG M4 | |

Ya it should have threads. You just screw off the flash hider and screw on the silencer like you would a bottle of water (but opposite)

| Is there a chance that it might mess up his accuracy or fps? | |

| If anything, it should help. The possible only way I can see it decreasing accuracy/power is if the gun was already shooting very curved, and the BB hit the inside of the suppressor. | |

| Oh, ok. I was just wondering since it says "Serve as extension of outer barrel for a longer inner barrel to be installed for enhanced accuracy", so it kinda threw me off | |

| Yeah, they just mean that you could install a longer inner barrel if you wanted to keep the suppressor on all the time, which would benefit the accuracy . A downside is the inner barrel would stick out a bunch if you took off the suppressor. | |

Ya typically silencers are used when your inner barrel extends farther than the stock gun's outter barrel. If your question is answered, I'll go ahead and request a thread lock.

| The echo 1 m4s, are plastic flash hiders right? If so, echo 1 used some sort of strong glue... and its HELLA (I say that cause i'm cool like that) STRONG! Let me tell you a story. One day a Asian boy who was made fun of by a redneck named Jarhead999. This asian boy (WILL NOT BE NAMED), unscrewed the outer barrel, and in all efforts did everything to try to remove the flash hider off his echo 1 m4. He tried using extra hot on a hair dryer for about 10-20 minutes. Deciding he doesn't want to kill the environment, after about 10 minutes while melting the glue... he decides, to grab a saucepan, put some water in it, and boil it. And about when the water was boiling hotly, he poured the water into a huge glass cup, and put the flash hider in there, hoping to melt it off. He left it in there, and about 1 hour of george lopez, took it off. Plenty of glue melted off, but STILL stuck. And to make matters worse, the screw they made the flash hider, is a flathead equivalent to those used on glassesses... es... bleh. Point being, nearly impossible to take off.. though you may have better luck then me mysterious asian boy who lets just named his initials, T.O.N.M. So yes, lesson learned for our hero. He still hasn't had any luck getting the flash hider off, and instead of a normal barrel extension, he used this baby. http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info.php?products_id=27121But don't take my word for it. I just thought T.O.N.M would like to share what happened to his echo 1 M4. You don't have to get one, but if you want to know ask T.O.N.M about it. If you CAN remove the flash hider (which i'm saying you can, I just had bad luck with it, and thought i'd share T.O.N.M's story.) You can get a supressor fake on it. 14mm negative threading is usually the one. | |

| Gee, I wonder who this mysterious asian boy is? Haha, yeah, I had the same problem with the metal G36C flashhider on mine. I went so far as to try daggum vice-grips, but even that did not work. | |

| Yeah, I had to buy a new inner barrel because I screwed up the threads on my STAG ARMS M4TC when I literally ripped it off (took a wrench and turned until the "Watch your language" pin bent). | |

| I took off the flash hider on my stag arms m4. First you have to remove the TWO allen screws in the side and the bottom of the flash hider. Then by putting the tip of the barrel and the flash hider in a bowl of hot water for 5 minutes, the glue released, allowing me to twist the flash hider off counter clockwise. Good luck | |
