| Flecktarn works perfectly where I live. dried leaves, bark everywhere, and lots of green. And I have decided to paint all of my guns in the country's camo from now on | |

| @Drummer Well, this is what started this project, haha, so that will explain the color scheme. @SnoSnipe If fleck worked for this environment, I would be beating down the doors of local gun painters to get them to paint my gun, but the reality of the matter would be I just can't use it. I do love fleck though, and actually considered making a Bundeswehr loadout for a long time | |

| Right, your idea of the MEU/SOF 1911/M9 scheme was what I was referring to. I believe a rough example would be appropriate: | |

| If the issue is with the black not blending with tan gear, paint it tan. Function (in this case camouflage) over fashion (in this case, how actual H&Ks are painted). | |

| Ah, okay, I see. Yeah, gotta get every little advantage you can find, y'know?
edit: okay, Drummer, I just saw that pic. That's basically what it will look like, except I'm leaving the dust cover black and the charging handle will be black as well | |

| I chose it would look bad ass but not practical I hate guns that are painted unless thats how they look in real steal, such as M16 in woodland colors it looks toyish I would leave it black. | |

| @Drummer Yeah, haha, just wanted to say it again, haha @lonesniper meh. For me, it depends on the color and the environment. I'm a practical guy @sniper the painting shouldn't be too hard. The worst part of the whole project will be taping off the irons and the charging handle. (the charging handle is not removable ) | |
