| I was wondernig if there are any other Carhartt owners or users? I myself have loved their coats and jackets for years. But i only today got my first Carhartt jacket hat and gloves. They're extremely tough articles of clothing and i consider them one of the best, if not the best, outter wear brands out there. So are there any other users out the and what do you do while wearing them, jobs etc.

| Brother has one, he got it because he worked construction for awhile... Personally I could never validate the price. I mostly wear fur hoodies/hooded jackets in the winter and if I need more I have an old snowboarding jacket from the thrift store . If I was going to replace the snowboarding thing I would grab a PCU. Google if you don't know what I'm talking about. I don't have the space to carry a huuuge carhart jacket around(school, public transportation etc), but PCU's fold and compress nicely. sticks | |

| HAHAHAHAHA All you big city guys with your expensive coats think Carhartt is the Newest thing. In my little farming community Carhartts are almost required dress for farming/excavation/construction/etc....I my self have gone through 2 pairs of Jackets and Over-alls from them and own numerous hats. | |

True story, spent my summers/winter breaks in BFN Illionois. Everyone has one out there. That or a real tree jacket .. Also, I don't think jarhead lives in a big city.... PCU>Carhart still IMO sticks

| no way in "Watch your language" ill ever live in the big cuity, you drive 30 seconds north of my house say goodby to suburbia. ITs hunting country. And i know carhartts been around forever its just i neverb had the money for one. Theyre soo nice but Very pricey. If i coulda picked a place to have been born in i woulda been 4 hours west o here in altoona a RailRoad town where its always raining snowing or sleeting and everyone works for their money. But here its all rich people, not me really, and spoiled brats. | |

well they are for a kid, no job, parents don't wanna buy it if he don't need it, and i finally need it due to snow, 72 inches this year so far. I been freezing my ass off clearing driveways and im goin for landscaping at a vo-tech school next yaer so i picked it up on sale down the army navy store. The hardware store was alittle pricey and didnt have my size and style.

| Well...If your going to be in the snow and wet "Watch your language" then don't get Carhartts...Snow is there only problem...If they get wet and soaked then they are just a burden. If you must have a set of snow proof pants then get some Polaris or Arctic Cat snowmobile Cover-Alls cause they are made for being covered in snow. | |
