Echo 1 g3 or AUG

Whichh one do u think is better as a stock DM also some put some pros and cons

Aug is a cool looking gun, its short, so you have more mobility, just don't get the one with the built in scope though. I heard its bad. As for the G3 i really don't know

i think a G3 would be more fitting as a DM, unless you got a long barreled AUG

I like the g3 better too im think about getn a tightbore barell and m130 spring

I agree with NoNeed2Hate, the AUG has a long barrel so it will be accurate enough to work as a DMR, but it just doesn't look the part in my opinion. The G3 looks more like a DMR because of it's bigger length and more traditional design. Looks better with a scope & bipod on it too.

Just so everyone knows, the inner barrels on g3 m16 and aug are all the same length. All are 509mm.

but if you think about it most countries only use an SR-25 or a Copy as their DMR or even modded G3s. i have yet to see a AUG used as a DMR, speaking military.
