airsoft m26 homemade

EVERYONE knows of the m26 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M26_Modular_Accessory_Shotgun_System

well I was wondering if anyone has made a cheap homemade one, I was planning on using a weak paintball pistol lower the FPS and turn it into a m26.

any problems, or major legal issues?

I've duct-taped one of those UTG $25 shotguns under my (old) G36, but never an M26. Sounds kind of cool, IMO.

well its a cheap paintball pistol, so it won't be exact, but I have time to make a good one this week. the only problem is getting the noise down and how to mount the load of co2 stuff on a mp5
