| Triple Canopy Inc. is a Private Military Contracting company that works extensively in South America with a little bit of action in Iraq. I'm considering joining them if I get out of the Marine Corps. Armor Group is Private Military Contractor based in Britain that did a lot of work running supplies in and out of Baghdad. They've since been taken over by G4S, a Private Military Contractor out of Palm Beach, Florida | |

| Off topic, apologies... Did anyone else notice that alot of PMC's websites are "offline" or "under construction"?
The Xe Services one has been "under construction" for a few months now... G4S's is down... Vinnell's site is gone...
@Jarhead, Triple Canopy largely provides security for humanitarian aid missions and perform private intelligence gathering in Iraq, correct? I remember seeing alot about them in Somalia and the Congo. They ran convoy protection for the lads that made the "Invisible Children" documentary.
Now I'm going to get back on topic (as should all you) because I don't want to sound like a hypocrite.
These are all really cool ideas. Might have to pick your brains once summer hits (planning something with Code-Red airsoft).

| Last off topic, then I'll be done
@Durkee I do believe that is correct. I'm not certain about their involvement in Somalia and in the Congo, though I'm sure they've gone there. In South/Central America, Triple Canopy Inc. does a lot of training with the local militaries and the like.

| All these games sounds like open plays on a huuuge field with vehicles!
Event 1(basics): Based in Northern Ireland during the NRA uprising. 10 NRA team members. 50 Irish civilians 1 mixed Platoon of UK Army MP's and local police. 1 UK Intel collector (MI-5) that has to infiltrate the IRA. 4 Media teams. 1 MOUT facility that resembles a small Irish town.
Stuff would get more complicated, with the IRA having a bunch of objectives to defeat the UK gov't. The MP's and LE would have to counter the insurgency. To bored to post everything that I have thought of, and this one may actually pan out(minus the MOUT facility), so I don't want to give away all my secrets.
Event 2: Based in Northern Mexico. Mexican Federal Police vs well equipped cartel. 10 tactical teams from the PdF(policia de federal). 30 members of team white Cartel irregulars. 30 members of team blue Cartel irregulars. 40+ armed town/militia role players.
The PdF would be limited to SUV's as transport. This makes it somewhat realistic as I or any other organizer would have a hard time locating a armored car/APC. They would also be limited in their ROE. This makes it realistic as they just can't go through shooting up a town.... Main mission would be to capture the cartel leader, which they need evidence to do. Keeping as many members alive as possible would add points to their score.
The Cartel would need to protect the leader and kill all the PDF. Locate some info on the other cartel leader, and assassinate him(for both sides, no teaming up).
The towns people/militia would have to protect their town/get intel for the other sides. ie, militia might get intel for cartel blue, and the PdF at the same time. But get cartel whites intel later or sooner. Or maybe they don't like how cartel white treats them so they don't give them any intel.
Both of these would put MilSim-ers in very realistic scenario's, but it would cut down on the trigger time. It would draw from a very specific set of players and I think it would make for two awesome games.
