| As most of you know...I've gotten lazy. I have this USMC/corpsman loadout that I've been working on for, well, a little over a year now... ...and I kinda just want to get it over with so I can go skirm! Thoughts on the Weapon Blender "complete loadouts"? I'd probably pick up this or this.(Most likely the first one, as it comes with a free Thunder B...which I would GLADLY review for you folks.) OPINIONS?!?! I'm really just at a point where I want it all done so I can focus on my other projects. Wanting to just get it all from one retailer all at once. I'm tired of hunting for deals hahah. Now...option 2 on the 4th Recon loadout...what's a RAV? Is it "better" than the MPC? Comes with: -TG tan leg panel with a Condor MOLLE large utility pouch. -TG tan tornado holster. -TG tan knee and elbow pad set. -Condor Modular Plate Carrier combo in tan which includes the following pouches: ---2 x Condor double kangaroo pouch ---1 x Condor EMT pouch ---2 x Condor double frag grenade pouch -Transtec ballistic optical system. -OD MICH 2000 replica helmet, painted tan with velcro added. -Sun, wind, and dust goggles (tan). -Ultra Force desert MARPAT uniform set. -TG tan pistol belt. -Thunder B Heres what I'll probably go with... Can I just get some opinions? | |

| The loadouts look good, and the quality of the stuff they give you is okay, but you really can't beat the price. Go for it (my friend has the marine one) | |

| Well the gear is mostly Condor...and I trust that brand. They make some great replicas and I've had good experience with their products. Just...still....haha. Something in the back of my mind says "hell naw!" But I don't know why... | |

| Dude, the vest that I'm looking at, all said and done, is going to run over half a G, JUST for the vest and pouches. Granted, I'm going with Pantac, but if you trust Condor, you can't beat this deal. | |

| It looks pretty decent, but to be honest, I think you're better off purchasing cammies seperately. Propper makes a "Watch your language" good uniform, and they manufacture the Issue ones. My MCJROTC blouse is made by Propper.
I say, yes, buy the loadout, but you may wish to replace the cammies in the future.

| I'm going to start out and point out all of the things that are wrong with this kit as a MFR kit... -The holster should be a safariland, not a cordura one... -Only need 2 frag pouches. -Mag pouches are totally incorrect, needs to be the EI/BHI M4 style pouches with flaps. -Vest is incorrect, should be a CIRAS, RRS-V, or MBSS PC. -The pouch on the leg panel is not used -No MBITR(radio) pouch or IFAK(first aid) pouch, which are pretty important. -They use the Modular Assualt Pack instead of a hydro usually, sometimes they have a hydro though. -Belt is ALICE, should be something like a BDU/riggers belt. -GEAR COLOR SHOULD BE COYOTE BROWN!!!! They use all tan gear. Some MFR guys still used MJK CIRAS' but its very rare.
Good things, -Lid looks OK, needs a 3 hole Norotos NVG shroud though. -Gloves are good to go.
I would just buy individual items that you need.... It would probably be cheaper and more correct than buying this.

sticks Well ya, I noticed some problems with their "force recon" loadout as well.. ...but I'm really just going for a generic USMC load. Is it on-par for that purpose?

| Just make sure to call the store and check if they have everything in stock for the loadout. I've had good experiences with them but they have messed up my order more than once (it was mostly whoever was working in the shipping dept's fault though) | |

| It should still all be CB, PM Jarhead about grunt kits. he knows more about the IBA's and IOTV's and such. I totally forget what the USMC calls their version of the IBA but they don't use a maritime CIRAS like the one that the weaponblender kit has.

| Okay, pretty easy stuff. Pantac MTV, some STANAG pouches, IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit), Hydro, frag pouch or two, smoke pouch, and a holster on a thigh rig should work. Refer to the pic thats toward the bottom of the page here for pouches. | |

| Alright so I talked to the Weaponblender staff...they're letting me barter with them a bit.
-Instead of the 2 extra frag pouches, admin pouch. -Instead of the Condor leg + pouch, Condor 702's (boots). -Instead of the leg holster, some Thunder B replacement shells. (I'm planning on purchasing a SERPA elsewhere to put on the chest rig).
So at this point I don't even care if the rig isn't right...they're being really cool...and I'm getting a great deal. Even if I could purchase all these items seperate for a lower price, I'd have to pay shipping on each seperate item.
So lets see how this goes. I'm going to buy it all in a week or so (once the M/O for my radio gets here).

| Oh...and to please the realism police ( ) I'm getting the RAV instead of MPC (looks more like a CIRAS). I already have radio and first air pouches... ...and I'm not getting the hydration bladder. And last but not least, I'm seeing if they can track down all the gear in Coyote Brown. If they can't, oh well... tan is fine by me. | |

| According to the guy I'm emailing, the RAV is coyote brown. And the items listed "tan" are available in CB as well. The pictures were of OD and tan. | |
