Jobs??

So, anybody here have any nice jobs? I work at Meremac Bluffs, or LSS. It's a retirement home, and I serve food and talk with them. I work in the Dimensia/Alzhiemers (SP) area, so at times it can be quite trying.

But I really like it; the job isn't too difficult and I love elderly people; They've lived through some of the most interesting and challenging times mankind has seen. I love it.
Only complaint is that I'm on my feet ALL day; by the end my legs are KILLING me!

I'm taking a staff job at Woodruff (BSA) summer camp. I'm going to be a NRA Assistant and the training is included with everything.

What exactly will you be doing?

Used to work at a shoe repair store...lost my job because of the recession. Only reason I was able to get the job was the Japanese family that ran the place didnt know that there was any legality issues in California with having a 14 year old behind the counter without a work permit

So I've been pretty much jobless ever since (I'm now 15, going on 16 in mid-July). Been doing little jobs here and there...working at unloading docks, web design, writing for the local newspaper, babysitting, etc...

Looking right now into an internship with Kaiser Permanente.

Normally the rangemasters at BS camps are 60 year old farts from Arkansas...
Shooting at paper targets from 25 yards...not my kind of shooting haha.

Do you have to stay up there for like 6 weeks straight?

I was going to try to get a job on my uncle's cotton farm in New Home, Texas, but that didn't work out, so now I'm going to see if I can find a job at Walgreens or something.

Shooting at paper targets from 25 yards...not my kind of shooting haha.

8 weeks, coming home on the weekends. And I know 25 yd's isn't exactly my idea range either...I want to work on my 100 yd groupings but that can wait you know. + If i was allowed to I would bring up my 10/22 but it's against policy

8 weeks! Thats intense. I was a counselor at Camp Whitsett and I was only there for 4 weeks...was killer...
All I can say is make sure they have a coffee maker.

Trying to get a job at gamestop. I'm friends with the manager and one of the guys is quitting to find a new job, so I'll probably get it.

I'm going this summer to work at a ranch camp as maintenance for two weeks (got a couple of my airsoft buds goin too. ) then later I'm workin as a counselor for a lego robotics camp. gonna be pretty cool!

I wash trucks!
on weekends. and cubevans to be specific. but its usually 10$ for outside 5$ for inside. usually I get 30$ a week since my family doesn't have many jobs going right now.

I get no Money
i don't work right now because all my extra time in trying to catch up in school..kind of sucks because i see a lot of your guys cool gear, and i wish i had some better gear, and maybe an extra mag..all i have is 1 hi cap...

I work at a local golf course, school year in the restaurant, but in the summer I caddy and matnence and drive the golf carts all over the place =)

During the summer I refferee soccer for younger games. Doesn't pay very well when I have so much going on like when I am out of state. Also sucks because each year you have to take like 6-8 class and then a test when you know most of this already. This is my second year doing it. Next summer I plan on getting a job at a bakery where my brother is working now, and we know the family well so almost garenteed getting a job there.

i teach taekwondo and manage a studio. it is very trying indeed, because half the kids have either mild or severe adhd O_O but i get the job done

Heh, I have a blackbelt in taekwondo, I teach for free for my master, but i guess its kind of like getting paid as I have reduced dues

i don't pay anything at all, in fact i get paid for teaching and help running the business. and yes it seems more and more kids have adhd these days... i think its due to the "american diet"

I'm going to try to get a job at the surplus store if not I will probably be a dish washer, or a bagger nothing really fancy just something to do get some money, and it will be year round so I think it's better then some of the other jobs I have heard of. thinking about it my cousin works for 2 months and makes $200-300 an hour, but thinking about it working year round will make you more money, but a job is a job and money is money.
