| It's not really Upcoming in the close future, but it is upcoming. It may appeal for some of you who are traveling over the summer in July. It's going to be in Casper, Wyoming. Stage 2 of the 5 stage assault. CLF (Canadian Liberation Force) is in the lead right now and is planning on kicking more @ss so we can take over Wyoming aye? The WDF (Wyoming Defense Force) gave us "Watch your language" but still Canada came out on top Pretty simple rules 1 shot your dead free event heres some info on it and telling you what happened at the last event ---------------------------------------------------------- Time: July 31, 2010 from 10am to 6pm Location: Casper Mountain City/Town: Casper, WY. Event Type: milsim Organized By: M.E.R.C. Situation: WDF have suffered a decisive defeat at the fortified Guernsey location. All remaining WDF elements have pulled back into areas near Muddy Gap. CLF Forces have gained a strategic foothold in Central Wyoming, however they are far from re-supply routes and can only receive air drop shipments. Canadian Intelligence has learned from the captured laptop computer that in order to secure a victory, the CLF must neutralize the resistance in the Casper area. WDF has secured aging 80mm Anti-Aircraft Artillery and have emplaced it around Casper and the nearby Dave Johnston Power Plant. The days are dark, the situation is grim, and secrets have been sold. Welcome to Battle for Wyoming OP: Air Assault! Points Standings after game 2/5: CLF 115pts M.E.R.C. 75pts WDF 50pts WDF= TAN (ACU, DesMarpat, DCU) CLF= Green (Marpart Woodland, Tiger Stripes, Woodland BDU) M.E.R.C.= Multicam (invite only) ---------------------------------------------------------- I am going to be attending this event along with the others if you plan on going or there is a chance you can go please post here so I can get your Liability papers sent to you. Side notes: if you do come make sure you have your Uniform and gear it got really confusing with people wearing ACU bottoms and black tops plus they may not allow it this time. M.E.R.C. invite only means exactly what it says, you can't do like a Contractor load out unless you have permission. So wear full uniform Points I got confused but I understand them now pretty simple you complete tasks and you get points you are then told at the end of the day how many you got. Safety You need to have full seal safety goggles at least Other then those things if you think you can come please PM me, or post here just whatever I can contact the host and say you are an out of stater and you will get recension. Also if you are going to play for Canada please contact me my team can supply you with things that you may need (BB's, Water, Safety goggles) Some things I noticed. The WDF (Wyoming Defense Force) had a lot of cheaters and really didn't plan on loosing. M.E.R.C. members also double crossed us during an invasion of the WDF fort so they are not friendly no matter what they say, so keep an eye on them. I will post more, the more I learn about this event. | |

| Question: I may be in Denver around that time, and my friend's older brother may want to go, so I'd go with him. I don't know what loadout he's rolling, but I'd be rocking a Contractor loadout because that's all I have, so.... I'd be wearing Desert MARPAT trousers, a tan body armor, and an OD t shirt underneath, so would I be allowed to play and if so, what team would I be on? | |

| Umm well I saw a few people with something like that you would be the WY defense forces, if you want to play for Canada I could talk to my team and see if they have some extra woodland camo. the teams are split depending on what color uniform you are wearing not your gear. Our runner was wearing woodland tiger stripes and an ACU vest (saved his ass the other team had no clue what side he was on) but he was on CLF.
Like I said though if you need and if you know for a fact comes time of the event, PM me if you need woodland camies I know C.A.T.S. has plenty of uniforms. I would also really enjoy playing with you/

| Yes, I would consider it an honor to airsoft with you, as well. I was just thinking about it, and I reckon I would be able to buy some woodland MARPAT trousers (I need some anyways). If I bought some woodland MARPAT trousers but still wore an OD t shirt, would I be good to go on the CLF? My body armor would still be tan, keep that in mind. | |

| I don't really know I think you should be able to play for the CLF even if you do that, I don't know if the body armor will do anything. and I do recall the commander for the CLF had Tiger striper trousers, and a tiger stripe boonie.
Let me PM the host of the event, hes really cool and I can say that you just don't run full uniform load outs, and tell him what you would be wearing. I think what he meant buy MERC uniforms was wearing multiple camo patterns. ie: Woodland trousers, DCU jacket, MC boonie.

| Okay, he said you need to wear a full uniform, so if you have like a woodland jacket or something they don't need to make camo patterns but they need to be the same team. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but we had a lot of problems with these things, and he wants to make it a little more simple for everybody. | |

| No, it's completely fine, I understand. Would he consider the following shirt to be alright? The OD part would be under my body armor, so all you would see would be the MARPAT on the sleeves. I'm just looking for a way to cut down on heat. Wearing the whole blouse and trousers set up can get warm in the summer. | |

| I think that will be I will ask the host again, I saw somebody in ACU wearing that, and in some British Desert Camies, so I think it's fine but to make sure. http://wyomingairsoft.ning.com/forum/topics/merc-events-please-readYou may want to read that to make sure you are following the rules I will PM him about the shirt though I think it works. I just saw this thread you may want to read it, also if you could go over these rules with your friend it would make it a lot easier. | |

| Be sure to remind him that those shirts are an Issued Item for the United States Marine Corps. If he doesn't believe me, I have plenty of reliable sources both in the United States Marine Corps and the Department of Defense. I read that page and will email links to this thread and the thread you linked to my buddy. Thanks, lonesniper. | |

| He said it was fine, so if anybody else is reading this you can wear those, as long as the trousers and that match. | |
