| Okay so heres whats going on, my team leader says I need to come up with a clear understandable call sign. Preferably 2 syllable, and is understandable over a throat mic. I am stuck on names Gear won't work and my last name is to hard to pronouncer. So any ideas, please nothing funny this is serious. | |

| I am guessing lonesnipe could work, I'm just worried that it won't be understandable over a throat mic. I don't have one either so I can't test it out (the team will supply me with one) | |

| I know that in the Navy, callsigns for pilots are usually embarrassing and/or degrading. Not sure how things are for infantry or in other branches or in PMC outfits. Something funny could actually be more realistic. If you're comfortable making fun of yourself, maybe something to do with your long hair. If not, maybe something like "charmer" or "hitman" or "longshot" or "phantom," though my strongest recommendation would be to go with something silly and not take yourself too seriously. | |

| I think I can do Chamber, or Longshot thanks Omega.
Wertuk, the thing with "The Rocker" is the fact if I was going to get a transmission it can be confusing because of the fact "The" is in is. I know I could just take the The part out, but Rocker can be mistaken for "rocket" beings we do milsims and the next milsim may have rockets in them I don't want to take a chance.

Most newer FB (family band) radios will have extensive filtering...so the difference between "rocket" and "rocker" will be readily audible. Even on radios with lower filtering, the ending will make the two stand out from one another...difference between "et" and "er" are extremely noticeable. That being said...if you choose to use "rocker" as a radio call, exaggerate the ending a little bit. With an "er", you could carry the sound as "errrrr". It'll help alot...but you shouldnt have any issues in the first place. Just throwing that out there...we've had a member run the "rocker" callsign on infantry net with no problems. And "rocketman"...if that has any relations to your questions

| My nickname and callsign is Sno. But we go off of numbers usually to confuse anyone that may be listening in, so I'm 402. | |

Pilot from We Were Soldiers....Just an example of what Omega was talking about. In most movies, fighter pilots have these badass callsigns, but yeah, that's a lot more realistic.

| @Creed FAIL! @lonesniper My team's callsign will be Lobo Two-Six. My old callsign was Hoss, because, well, it's the name I go by and it's the name that's on my helmet, haha. | |

| Don't mention it! Lonesniper, try choosing words you like that are easy to understand over a radio. It ultimately comes down to you, nobody else. | |
