Are the motors on all AEGs interchangeable? Now that I my KWA M4 is out of commission, I want to put my nice motor into my Tommy.....Would this be a problem?

is your tommy take a long type motor if so yes you can put it in

Well I'm pretty sure the different motors are classified by height, m4/m16 and some others are considered long type. I'm not sure on the type of motor used with the tommy. Where is the motor placed inside it?
Edit:With a little research it seems that m1a1s use the short type used in AKs and the like, so no, I don't think it will work.

i got 2 years under me the thompson is a short style but hang in there my friend you can get it ll together

Thankfully, my Tommy performs amazing with a good battery and a nice TBB...so I'll be OK at the OP. I also have my TM M16A1, which I got to be fairly accurate.... before I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn
