Subject: How to fix this!?!?! Every Idea Is Welcome! Wed Dec 01, 2010 3:50 pm
This is our bridge, on the right side of the picture, where the rocks are, is a large sluice pipe about 4.5 feet in diameter... Not clogged at all, just soooo much water that it overflows it. Thus letting the water flow into our yard and over our driveway... This kicks a whole bunch of rocks into our yard which isn't good once it's time to start mowing..
As you can see, this used to be our bridge to cross the creek... It is still there, just submerged under water... =[ Driving on water over a bridge you can't see isn't fun!
Does anyone know how we could solve this problem and let the water flow freely without piling over our driveway??
Here are more pictures for reference...
This is the sluice pipe.. under the rocks.

Get an AC-130...drive vehicle into cargo bay...fly over river...
Done. No need to thank me.
You can also try a landing craft, as they did on Top Gear. PS: The Royal Marines are the biggest badasses ever.

Buy a DUKW.
I'm no landscaper but i don't think there's much you can do other than divert the water flow somehow.

HAHAHA! TOP GEAR FOR THE WIN! I love Top Gear! We had to do an assignment in French where we were to give clues to a famous person. I did Jeremy Clarkson and no one could guess it! haha

Pumps then? Maybe create a pond in those woods, and have drainage pipes or pumps pumping it all there?

Then you'll kill all the animals -- dirty still water is nastay after a while.
