| Lol @ $90 yellow one, my buddy got one of those and ended up painting it ACU lol. (Another bad choice, but still...)
I think the new(?) Iron Face masks are pretty cool.

| I just use ESS/BOLLE goggles, and a mouth guard from wally world. Anything that covers my entire face will inhibit quite a few things that i enjoy on the field. -eating(especially Ritz that are tucked behind my vest, best on the go snack ever) -Cig's -Pipes, the corn cob kind, not the trippy stoner kind -cigars, not gas station cigars, little cheap Fuentes usually -canteens -mein haterade -talking like a normal human being -yelling without blowing out my ear drums -venting well -breathing, I'm a smoker I don't need plastic to keep me from my clean air!
^all that and I don't like looking like a tool. Also I've found that most of te time mesh is a larger danger to the eyes than a good thing. It tends to split the BB's or scrape a little off. That and I can't use those with my glasses.

| yeah, and a full facemask often hinders the wearer from looking through a scope properly. it also inhibits hearing and they fog easier than goggles. I don't care how fog resistant it is, they're never fog proof. plus, they get extremely hot where I play in the summer. I've taken shots to the mouth before and it never does any permanent damage. | |

| The mask I linked, NEVER fogs, and I mean NEVER. Also it is very low profile, and can look down Ak sights easily, and optics very easily. I also played in 96 degree weather with high humidity, and since it easy to push a hydration tube through, I did not get very hot underneath it, and I was wearing a balclava. | |

that does look cool, but I think I'll pass the mask for a nice set of goggles.

| ESS Striker TurboFan Goggles. These WILL cost you an arm and a leg, but it is SO WORTH IT. The biggest complaint I ever get out of goggles/masks is fogging. With this pair, I can wear my face wrap to protect my mouth and have my breath vent up INTO my goggles, and with these goggles there is still zero fog. The built in fan with two speeds is extremely quiet, and does it's job.
I honestley thing the worst and most common problem out there is fogged goggles. How can you play when you can't see? It used to just ruin my whole day. But no longer, not with these!

My previous pair were vented and I fogged after a good 30 min. of play....then a gain I do LOT of running and gunning, and I'm a heavy breather.....I spend a lot of time near enemy forces 3-4 times my size

| My team (usually enough guys to make a squad or two will show up) plays a more stealthy approach to the game; we go around doing the objective work, taking out anyone that needs to be. If they're just going to come back after 5 minutes and remember where we've been it's no sense in getting them out. If it's a "team elimination" we'll work more closely with the other guys on the "BLUFOR" if you wanna call it that and help them take out everyone (getting shot in the process, of course). At the fields we play at it's either dense brush or open sand and ditches, running and gunning wouldn't really benefit in either one. So I don't fog up too much | |

| Are those dust goggles drummer? Just so you know I tested a pair with my 1911 Hicapa (KJW) and after about 6 shots it dented so bad it ruined them, and with my M4 it went through. | |

But no longer, not with these! how much is an arm and a leg? cause yeah, fog always ruins my day. I'm constantly having to wipe my glasses (yes, glasses, the cheap yellow kind) off. I asked for a nice pair of goggles for Christmas, but if I don't get any I'll be in the market for some.

AMEN. Sometimes you have to make that choice, and younger players always think I'm crazy when I tell them to let OPFOR pass our position. Sometimes they open fire anyway.... Which is why I stick to my extremely small group of 3-4 people I know I can trust.

[/quote] I own these goggles, as does Angel, they are absolutely incredible and the best thing I have purchased ever! Absolutely no fog, and two toggles, slow fan (use this the most) keeps most all fog out, if it ever does fog up, just bump it to high for a second or two. Clear as day.

Couldn't have said it better myself... Goggles are the most important piece of your loadout IMO, right next to your AEG. Why play if you can't see?

| okay, im going to be completely honest. I dislike how people complain about their goggles fogging all the time because 99% of them have not attempted to make it stop. I carry cat-crap (brand name), and whenever somebody complains about fog, i give them a bit, and they don't fog for the rest of the day. 150% success rate. Try it. Rant over. Masks are meh, im getting a smiley face balaclava ;D | |

I've yet to have a mask fog on me to the extent that I could not fix it with spit or dish soap

| I've used two different brands of defog, one was \"Watch your language\" the other worked for a good 4-5 hours. So that one wasn't bad. But its still...sloppy. I don't know it's still a pain and can leave streaks on your mask; I need to be able to do things on the spot, the place I play at doesn't even have running water. OPs are usualy 8.5 hours of almost continues play. So the fog stuff, while it helps, just doesn't really cut it for me. The fan works much better | |

Yeah I hear ya on that. I've been using full seal goggles, mouth guard, and face wrap for the most part lately (unless otherwise stated by the field management). Up until recently I've been using a crappy $25 Scott brand paintball mask. Thing was horrid...but it vented well and lasted til I broke the lens (not as rugged as I would have liked). If I have any cash by the time I finish my PMC kit, I'mma grab me one of these http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-steel-mesh-deluxe-full-face-mask-black-1.html

| I use the Revision Desert Locust goggles with a mounted G&G turbofan. They make a model with an integrated fan, but I already had the G&G one. Even without the fan and without defog the goggles are pretty fog resistant, but I like to have redundancy. I use the fan always and defog when it's hot. As far as mouth protection goes, I've taken to wearing a turtle fur. I have yet to test, however, how a turtle fur affects my comms. I may need to find a different form of mouth protection for when I need comms. | |
