| oh ya well try putting the original part back in and see if it still works if so then it might be the new part but if not then you most likely messed something else up inside i can't really give you to much info on this though. | |

| Sounds doubtful that it's the barrel. Just take out the cylinder, lube averything up inside and out, check the sears..... without actually having it here and taking a look there's only so much I can do mate, really sorry!

| Opps i did not notic that I posted three times in a row. Mods I wont care if you deleat them or combine them they were to jim.
Also I might be getting a part time job so I most likly get the zero triger if i can't fix it. So here is my question do I have to replace the cylnder if I put a ew spring in like a m170 (Ill put a new guide in.)

| No you don't need a new cylinder. | |

| OK. Just had a chance to look at your photo's. Looks like you have a faulty piston sear, seems worn down. I think the problem is that the piston sear is too worn down and can't catch the piston as it is pulled back to engage, thus not stopping the spring from recoiling and slamming the bolt forward.
If you were planning on upgrading anything in the cylinder you'd need a piston sear upgrade anyway. What you'll need to buy is the laylax piston and trigger sears, or if you are feeling very rich, then get the laylax zero trigger.
For the cylinder, you said you were getting a 170sp spring. In which case, get a laylax spring guide and high pressure piston (the piston is not necessary if you opt for a zero trigger as it comes with one) Then you'll probably want a cylinder head (although not entirely necessary)
But the essential things to get are the Piston sear and trigger sear (the stock trigger sear will hold up fine if you aren't planning on upgrding, but since it houses the piston sear, you will need to upgrade this as well once you add your cylinder upgrades.
If you want advice on installing these I'd be happy to help. (quick note- DON'T lose the little spring between the trigger and piston sear, it's essential, and the only real pain-in-the-arse part of upgrading your gun.

| I did not notice until A_S told me but the second two aren't important so you have my permission to delete them if you want. Sorry admin.
Also I Fixed the problem it was a stripped screw that I can replace. I know it is it because my dad held it together and it caught the piston. The outer barrel screw was also stripped to so I will get multiple screws (there all the same size.) The screw is a special screw so its most likely it will have to be made, its 6-40-xx (xx equals the length.)
Jim I made it Jim Airsoft on my contacts because a know a Jim, and my email adds your name to my message for some odd reason. Happy Early Birthday Jim only by seven days. | |
