| well, i have no experience, but a good exercise would be for your brother (amg sniper i believe) to place markers in a field at different distances away from you, and you, with a scope or not, try to tell him how far he placed them. this will obv allow you to be able to judge distances more accurately, and help your brother out more quickly while calculating a shot.
a tip on how to do this, is take something you know, and apply it. ex, a basketball is 10 ft high, a marker may be 3 bball nets away.
i could be way off, but i know that real sniper spotters go through this training exercise

| Thanks thats a really good idea. My brother and I tried something like that, where he would call out a target and i would have to guess how far away it is. Surprisingly, we got very close to the same thing almost every time. | |

I've never seen a 10ft tall basketball before.... lol Well in terms of weaponry, any full length battle rifle will do since what a spotter is essentially doing is acting as a support gunner/DM for his sniper. If it has slightly better range than your average AEG then that's perfectly adequate, and a high rate of fire is essential for when you are comprimised. When I'm spotting, I just use my M14. I have 5 low caps loaded with .25 and 5 mid caps loaded with .2 for putting down a lot of fire (mine's upgraded with a prometheus barrel and some internal upgrades for a higher ROF that I don't really know since I don't mod my own AEGs since I have little interest in them) Jim
