| Hey everyone. I thought I'd post a picture of my new ghillie suit I bought yesterday. Forgive me for the crappy picture (and my frightening pose), but all i had available was the camera on my phone I got the suit online, pre-made, and I think it'll be nice having. It seems to be real high quality, and for the price I couldn't pass it up. I didn't want the full ghillie, as wearing one with Ohio's humidity/heat would probably kill me, so I bought only the head/torso version. It seems perfect for me though. It's lightweight, strong, and fits nicely so in the case of a running escape I wouldn't have the ghillie slowing me down I'm still not sure how often I'll wear it, but it'll be nice having the ghillie as an option. Anyone else have a ghillie, or am I the only one? lol. Again, sorry for the crappiness of the pic. I'll try to get better ones up here soon! | |

| Ha. I don't think the question is "noobish" at all I actually found a great deal on it, $70 shipped. But, unfortunately for anyone looking for the same deal, I bought it as a "buy it now" on Ebay from a dealer named camoamerica. They have several other deals where you can get it for just $10 more though. Anywhere else you'll be paying around $100, so still a great deal. The name of the ghillie is Bushman head and shoulders ghillie suit. It came pre-assembled, with a ton of extra jute (in various colors), and a bag of flame retardant. Not bad for $70! And the suit is very comfortable and easy to maneuver in. Like Seabass mentioned, if you're using it for airsoft, get a head and torso-only ghillie. For the temperatures you'll be playing in and the purpose of it, the head/torso ghillie would be perfect. The link he gave is a great example of what to get! That seems to be a steal. And Bushrag is a well-known producer of ghillies, so no cheap off-brand Man, now looking at that picture again, I can't believe I posted such a terrible pic. I'll get some better ones up tomorrow evening! | |
