$226 to spend..........

Well everyone, i have $226 right now, not counting 40 my mom owes me and 55 my bro owes me, (i'll probably never see any of that, which is ironic because i'm the only one in the house who doesnt have a job. this is my money, not Christmas (holiday) money. So, what sould i get?

Probably no matter what you all say i'm getting a SCAR, but give me some idea's. (keep in mind i just turned 14 in November and this is a lot of money for me)

Save for a car... It may seem a ways off but the more you save now the better off you will be later. I know i sound like a hypocrit saying that i am buying new airsoft stuff also BUT i will be getting a job soon plus i never took drivers ed so i have to wait till im 16 to even get my permit. Now what you can do is save more then buy the new gun when you will have at least 200 left over. And it is kinda wierd to hear a 15 year old kid say this but it is true. I am lucky my dad is planning on trading in his truck and from the money on that get a 2 new cars. One for him and one for me and my sister to use. But if you are not as lucky then try to save if you can or at least think about it...

lol kill. thats why you get a job $200 is just b-day money for something small, even though right now is the best time to invest because stocks that would originally cost $200 are ~$100.

I have the same price range to shop for a gun, however it sucks because the full metal ones you want in this price range still need to be upgraded, and more money dumped into. No thank you, i'll upgrade the one I got now.

Don´t knock these guys, they really know their stuff.

personaly I would leave the drum magazine alone, it just dosn´t fit to the SCAR.

Ya I would go on the first one without the drum magazine.

I know what your sayin, but just, no. i plan on taking drivers ed in high school, and my Grandfather is getting me whatever car i want, well, not what ever i want, but a very decent one. He got my brother the Truck he owns today, and its a Dodge Dakota, pretty nice. i'll watch those videos

Well, that was one of the first ones i consittered before picking the Echo 1 Stag. Now i want a SCAR. I can never make up my mind! i think i'll be happy with the SCAR tho...
is the JLS SCAR anygood? i have to make my order on the 14th, witch is tomarrow. So if you know anything about the JLS please say it now. or if anyone has any other suggestions. if you all don't change my mind, by the end of tomarrow, i will have ordered a Dboys SCAR. when i say tomarrow it may be today for some of you, so, sorry.

Yeah I saw someone break both JLS' SCAR stock and barrel in one fall..... It creaked allot too, the hop-up broke in the mission before the fall. The gun was brand new, the received it the night before the game. So based on that I would say go with the D-Boys.

Go with the D-Boys SCAR , right now airsoft gis got it in for 133 dollars , the holiday special , the internals of the DBoy SCAR and the Echo 1 SCAR are nearly the same , so you won't get a piece of junk . One of my team mates is looking at this gun . After all a 190 dollar SCAR , for 133 dollars , that nearly 70 dollars off , now thats a sweet deal .

IS there a difference in the SCAR i posted (at top) and the SCAR from Airsoftgi? u said from GI its only $133 on sale, and on airsoftmegastore its $165 on sale, but it says its the 2009 version... is it acaully any better?

No , ones just a newer version .

Well that is just a gimic to draw more customers , the ones on sale at airsoftgi are probally 08 or 07 models , but they are both the exact same guns , it is kind of like the 06 and 07 Chevrolets .

i ordered my dboys SCAr the other day!

I personally would go with a gun that will last quite a while. This is just my opinion but, for 160 bucks you can get a Classic Army Sport line, with a battery package. Then you can spend another 66 on what ever you chose.

I just ordered from airsoft megastore my G36c and there quality is great..What so ever.Just thought id put that in..I love the scar style but still have heard bad things about it..

buy a used gun. a great gun with aftermarket parts and minimal wear could go for that much, and be a great deal compared to a new gun. make sure to get to know the owner and get full details on the gun tho
