this is where the hop-op is placed, right where the ammunition feeds and the cartridges eject. nice that i can pull it back to adjust my hop-up or just to look cool when i reload ^^




i put tape on the mags because it easier to reload this way (finger placement etc) also it gives you a little more grip and i can tell if it is mine or not, in case i drop it in an airsoft field etc

Cool ive always liked the waffle mag design more than the standered AK-47 magazine. Cool gun to im not a very big fan of the AK series although I do respect them I just don''t like em'. Like the folding stock to thats a plus!

is that a custom grip or stock?

it's the CYMA 028u AK47 Tactical with folding stock. the grip and stock both are stock items on it. no customization. the feel is very good. has a nice weight to it as well. about 8 pound or 9

is it full metal?

it has a metal gearbox version 3, the body is a mix of metal and plastic. however the plastic looks very real and not plasticy

yeah, it looks great, man. sorta like an AK-103, but without the flash hider.

yeah this thing is a beast. i love it! i am going to customize it a little more. i have to since i am a lefty and this is made for righty's if i have to reload it's hard as he ll when the stock is folded

what's the rate of fire on it?

i think around 550-600 a minutes but probably faster. fps is about 350-375 if not higher

yeah hehe but ebay is kinda of iffy. you never know if the condition is truly great. etc. many factors that could make it worse than it could be

well, i actually just ordered my first AEG yesterday, and it's a G36C. i'll probably write something on my mag, as i usually do with my equipment.

well it's not just for identification purposes. it's also tactically useful

oh yeah, i hear ya. the good thing about the G36, though, is that the mags clip together. they're perfect for tactical purposes.

yeah! for sure. that is awesome. the tape just helps with gripping the magazine when reloading and getting the proper finger placement so you don't jam your fingers when you put the mag in. also it looks sweet!

oh yeah. you know, what i do, (i used to have several springers) is i write stuff on my mags with a silver sharpie, and get used to putting my fingers on those spots. i'd sit while watching tv and do that for hours. helps with muscle memory!

yeah usually i just sit on my bed and practice reloading over and over. i do it the russian military way where you use the fresh mag to push out the old one.

good idea, especially with the AK family. you should always know how the real-steel operators train with their weapons so you can achieve optimum efficiency. when my G36 gets here, i'm going to find Bundeswehr training manuals and G36C nomenclature books and read those.
