is the p90 a dud?

actually no. It is a fairly well made gun. I recommend it for cqb for a number of reasons. 1) Right below the limit of fps. 2) Great quality; if you drop it, it will not break. 3) oh did i mention its just a good gun. But is not a dud it all matters who has it.

heard the hi caps have flaws

no and hi-caps, doesnt come with hi-caps just mid-caps.

You can't wind the hi caps though you gotta take em outta the gun.

my friend has the echo-1 p90. it is a CC beast..... O_O i have a massive welt on my chest from it.

Thats why you get mid-caps for it. Most P90s on the market right now have feeding problems. The E1 P90 is one of the better ones out there actually. Just gotta downgrade it FPS wise for cqb...most close-quarter fields have 350 fps limits.
