I'm glad you guys like the idea. What does everyone else think? White Wolf - like the patch design. I'll definitely keep that in mind.

+1 to White Wolf's design. That is legit.

If we do make an airsoft allied patch, I would suggest adding emphasis that it is a forum. Otherwise many who are unaware of airsoft allies will assume that it is a team. Also by adding emphasis that we are a forum community, we can advertise the forum and get even more valuable members.

The patch should be available in multiple color schemes, such as Arid, ACU, Dark, Woodland, MARPAT, so on and so on, so each player can obtain a patch that can be used with his/her loadout.

How lucky is that. I've been taking graphic design classes, but without photoshop I'm dead in the water.

EDIT; and with a mouse that doesn't have a wheel or 2 buttons makes me mad, I want to make some more patch designs for ya'll

Whats the plan with availablility and price. Who would get one? What would it cost? I think only members one the site should beable to get them mostly because who would know about them and the patches would be retailed by the Admin himself. Im not so worried about the price. $15-25 for the patch without shipping?

Eh, I don't know man. I can just as easily go to an embroidery shop and get one made myself for $5.

Ahhhh me too but it wouldnt all stay the same as far as quality and staying loyal to the origanl design.also maybe there could be a little space on the edge for a state name to be put or something like that

I see your point. I do agree with you on the state name, however, why don't we do state abbreviations instead? For example, mine could say NM instead of New Mexico.

Well, most patch manufactures that I have seen require you buy about 500 patches. If someone knows a place that is different, then please let us know.

But I would say that the best method of doing this is for first: to design the patch.

Second: find out how many people want the patch.

Then each person buying the patch will send Admin the price it'll cost via a safe transaction such as paypal, etc. Admin uses the money to buy mass patches then sends them out to each person. Also, remember you'll be required to send the shipping in advance too, so we'll require to know what that is too.

Lastly, factor in how much work this would be for Admin to do alone (Which I would suggest not breaking it down to further groups to lessen any complications). So to be fair I would add at $5 service charge for every person, just for Admin. This way he (Or whoever is ordering/shipping the patches) will get compensation for all the work they'll be doing.

Okay, I was thinking about colors for patches, and maybe we could do OD for every patch. It'll save money, and OD will work for practically any loadout.

User name and state abbreviation is gonna be expensive, bro.

If done correctly, $5 should cover the patch, postage (you can just mail it in an envelope), and a small donation to the site. Or $10 for a more reasonable sized donation that takes time and effort into account.

This is the site my team got its patches through. Reasonable prices, low minimums, free shipping (to one address), and good quality.

also people Use GIMP not photoshop thats just a load of bull "Watch your language" gimp is free and more user friendly

lets not get into a war with this, but photoshop has a lot more junk that no one could possibly come to use, so HAH I'll look at it though

No, just OD would be the best and it'll be cheaper. It will work on any loadout, really.
