| Hey all, I've been airsofting for quite a while now, started with a WELL MB05 (L96 clone) went to an Echo1 MP5A4, then to my M4 --DMR CQB and everything else it has been converted to. We have started playing at a new field which is absolutely gigantic. (3-4 times larger than our current field)
All that out of the way, I would like to start taking on a new role as a sniper for our team. It has gotten quite large and I feel that I should be the one who does it. Yes to all I do know it isn't the most exciting role, but I do know that I would have a blast doing it. Getting alot of kills in a game is fine, but I do not really feel like I achieve much running and gunning around town. (Our CQB field)
I really want to help out the team more with recon and even if I don't take anyone down, I will be happy with the work I had done that day.
To get to my point now, I am looking into things I would use to carry mags around and to keep myself concealed. All while being able to freely move and keep everything on me.
The weapon is not anything I am concerned about and this load out will not be finished until the summer when I get back. But I would love to get suggestions from all of you.

I was thinking to not go with a ghilly suit seeing as they would easily get tangled in all the brush we have, but more towards multicam bdus, I always liked the style, and they blend in very well with our surrounding area. I would also need some sort of vest to carry my magazines and other necessities in.

| get a rigger belt, battle belt, and H-harness with some mag pouches keep everything there since the battle belt has MOLLE also keeps it out of the way too when crawling | |

| Looks like they might fit into pistol mag pouches. | |

That was what I was thinking, pending on how many I get I will more than likely go with this since there are not any specific mag pouches for them. I may get the pistol pouches but I am only concerned that they might not fit correctly enough. Any other pouches I should consider carrying?

| The R700 is basically a VSR clone, and VSR and Bar10 mags fit perfectly into pistol pouches. I am pretty sure that pistol pouches should work. | |

| Get one of them Echo1 ASR rifles. I have shot one, and it was stock. Probably the most accurate airsoft gun I have ever shot. | |

| I've heard good things of the ASR as well but the G700 wouldnt be a bad choice either due to its internals being pretty well built | |

| I'm not going to go with the ASR, I would like to stay with the g700 or something else I find after I get back.
Anyone have info on the throat mic and/or radio?

| Like I said before, as long as it is within 1-200 dollars, it shouldn't be a problem. | |

| If your fulfilling the sniper role your not going to want pouches, chest rigs, harness, vests, etc.. attached to you adding to your outline. You minus well get a neon sign saying here i am lol. The key is conealment. A good kit would be; a good quality ghillie suit (if your doing alot of crawling then get a bdu ghillie suit with cordura). With that you have access to pockets off the bdu and the durable cordura to crawl around and lay for long periods of time. Your going to need a rifle wrap for your weapon as well. And for your gear get a drag bag ( you can store two weapons, pistols, ammo and gear). Thats a perfect kit, thats what i have and it has never failed me. | |
