12g co2 converted to propane?

what would be the easiest way to convert me crosman air mag M50 to use propane?

You cannot do it, the reason you can't is the Co2 cartridge is a self contained gas canister. On GBB and NBB pistols the gas is in a "well" of sorts, basically the place where you would put the gas in is the pace where the Co2 canister goes.

I mean if you had access to a welding shop, a few seals, maybe a bullet valve you could do it but the time and cost of that project would be just as much if you just got a GBB.

im talking about having the tank attached on to the gun like a paint ball tank is screwed on to the paint ball gun. im not talking about refilling it like a green gas gun.

Well you can't really do that either.

unless... you changed the valve on the pistol to match a paintball guns valve(i have a brain cramp the exact valve is escaping me), then all you would have to do is get a paintball remote coil and attach it to the valve's. Of coarse you would have to get some new O rings and an on/off vale(for the propane to the coil part)

the coil runs about $40, the valve (last time I checked) runs about $30, if you can find one, the O rings run cheap(like $3), but the on off is in the $20 area.

So the project would run you about $90 plus some change and tax. Unless your "Watch your language" bent on doing this I wouldn't wast the time or the money on it. It would be a cool conversion though...

well i bought the thing for 75 bucks a wal mart, and i made it full auto. it originally got 150 rds on one can of 12g when it was semi auto, but after the mod, it wastes the 12's too fast; plus the gun would be beast with an air tank mod . it scares the S%^t out of my friends already. lol

If that tank was on my team I would probaly win

yeah its got a 50 rd double stack mag and shoots about 1000 rpm. yep its a bb waster. it currently has 350-380 fps. with the tank mod how fast do you think the velocity will be?
