| What are the current specs of your mechbox now? such as bushings, shims, gears, piston...ect? If it is all stock then what kind of gun do you have? | |

| it is all stock. it is a jg m4 cqb r. I have already ordered a g and p full metal hop up, and 60% bucking. I have also ordered a tightbore by matrix (6.035mm). | |

| Ok so you are going to need new bushings and new shims to go with to do a Hi ROF upgrade I would keep the piston head stock but get a reinforced piston with poly carb teeth I would install a M100 spring or M90 I would install a hi speed gear set I would use a 9.6v. or higher Also replacing your tappet plate with stronger and less brittle one. we are excluding the TBB correct?
that should come to $120 pretty easily but it is worth the money

| What kind of ROF are you going after ??
I would guess that you are currently shooting around 14-16 rounds a second,
I partialy agree with Lone Wolf, you are going to need metal bushings, if you stay below a M110 spring, you may want to consider Bearing bushings, they do quiet the gun down a bit. New shimming is a must !! and your standard gears will withstand the load of a M90 spring easily, by up-ing your voltage you are going to increase your ROF, and as long as you are not doing really long RATTA TAT TATS, you can stay with the standard Tappet Plate.
Re-enforced Tappet Plates should only be used in High Power-High Speed Set Ups, where you have both the combination of high end FPS and ROF.
This will help keep your costs down. Good Luck If you have any Questions, just say the word.

| Is there a guide to shimming I can have. Also, I was hoping to use a 110 spring. I assume that I will not be needing to by a high speed motor. Also I know that I am going after speed but what is the real difference between torque up and high speed gears and motors. I have looked at specifications of each and both increase your rof alot, (except with torque up you can use a stronger spring.) would it be a problem if I went for a high torque set up now, so I can use a larger spring later and just use the stock spring for now. I will just change the high speed things you listed to torque up. IDK but will I need more reinforced parts for torque up because of the extra power. I play more of a middle range role, I just have a craving for speed.

| Shimming is mainly trial and error, unless you buy new mechbox shell...which you do not need your gear axel should be just as long as the width of the mechbox shell. Before I shim the gear set I first put the new bushings on without any shims. I then push the bushings down to the gear. Next I will take a bushings and compare its width to the length of the axel that comes from the bushing to the end. | |

| please refer to my last message it has been edited. And thanks for the shimming advice. That is a side shoot of a bushing with the (Blue) shim and gear with an invisible mechbox wall right? | |

| yep thats what it is... it just goes with what I said in the post Torque up and hispeed motors have different ratios. they are the same size so they fir your mechbox but the number of teeth on each gear will be different. hi speed allows a stock motor to pull the piston back faster, Hi torque motors are in favor of strength moreso than ROF. I would just stick with a stock tension spring but upgrade the cylinder and piston head to get a better compression of air. you already have the tbb which ussually increases FPS about 10 units. | |

| Important note, the Systema high speed motor is rated up to an M130, which should be more than enough for any spring that you drop in you're gun.

| If you are going to be using the Systema motor, be sure to replace the standard pinion gear with a hardend one. The Standard gear on the motor will last a while, but it is really not made to withstand the demands put on it.
Any of the Systema motors will work, if you are going to use a M110 spring, I would suggest dropping in the Hummer 1300 motor, same level of performance, but it will leave a little more cash in your pocket. If you stick with the Systema, you will have to `` UP´´ your Battery, Systema motors are electricity pigs, 9,6V 3500 MaH to start with.
