| The delta ring is what connects the barrel to the upper receiver, The pins are what hold the upper and lower to eachother. What are you connecting the charging handle too? Its always different but usually you need to pop out the little tab on the opposite side of the body where an amdidextris selector switch would be and just unscrew it, the gearbox needs to be out though. | |

| Those pins are the correct ones,
Unless you are working on a PTW, the Charging Handle is mainly for optic and sliding the Bolt Carrier Plate back to expose the Hop-Up adjustment Wheel or Gears. The Charging Handle is attached to a spring which is attached to the inside of the upper receiver.

| On the charging handle there is a little part of it that sticks out. This hits the little button on the dust cover that causes it to flip down. Just make sure you put the spring on the dust cover correctly. It might take a little while to get it right. | |

i'm just building a simple gun at the moment wrong if you want a full metal receiver they go for ~ $50 alone. RIS systems/ metal handguards anywhere from 50 - 100$ depending on quality. Personally I recommend buying a bone-yard-ed high-quality M4 like a KWA/ CA/ ICS which still has the full metal body then repairing/upgrading it to working condition.

| It doesn't necessarily have to be a boneyard gun. You can probably find something used and working for about the same price as the gun being broken. | |

| No because it is a SR 25 not a M4 FYI.
Just look for a used gun at your field's or on craigslist. Good luck. It will be a chunk of change but most of the stuff your going to need to buy will already be included.

| No building from scratch will run you into the same amount of money. Then there are concerns with specific upgrade parts not being compatible with upgraded shells ect.
Better to upgrade from stock then scratch.

| Actually that gun you linked to for a body was not a sr-25 as lonewolf said. It is a M-16A4 which would work perfectly. | |
