| Motor can, wires can, switchboard can, but for the actual GB- I don't think gears can overheat, unless I'm missing something. | |

| If theres enuf friction everything can overheat and get cought or melt but thats in an extreme situation.....if your worried about it a lot then just keep everything lubed and clean... | |

| ok.... than I also found it was my battery...... first time it heated up..... smells like rubber all cooled and good nou | |

| truelly all a GB really is is a series of gears set together in a metal box. thus they shouldnt but the power source, motor battery wires that all come before it can overheat. | |

| Killbucket could best answer this, I seem to remember an experiment with an M249, contstant feed system, 50,000 BB´s, Trigger Lockdown, Non-stop Firing for like 10 Min, towards the end the Gun wasn´t sounding to healthy, but it was still shooting.

| well, I found the magical black smoke was just a floater getting bigger! but apparently it was grease..... is grease usually greenish? | |
