Starting a team check it out

Hey I'm joining a team that's just starting it's mostly kids in the neighborhood. We got 6 people in it 2 people need to get guns and 2 need to upgrade. Wanted some tips wat u got I tried makin a team before but knowere to airsoft till I moved. This is wat I was thinkin 4 people have or are gona get ak47 And me and 1 other guy are gettn g3 we figured this way we could swap out mags since most ak47 mags are compatible with each other and all g3 mAgs r compatible
Also we Airsoft at 2 diferent feilds both woods. Spread out and a little bit of cqb also we practing in a lot with just tall grass and ditches and a few bunkers we built

CQB with a G3 will be tough so I'd imagine you'd send in the other guys for that. Sounds good to me though.

it also sounds good to me too...but you might want to think about expanding a bit more...try to find yourself a sniper also...and make sure to get side arms you never know when your going to need it and trust me it comes in very handy..the reason I said you want a sniper is just think of it this way...if the other team is afraid to get close because there is a sniper picking off your guys then they are going to hold back you send your sniper a little forward each time and you force them to become unsteady then you move forward with a hard attack and you have them...So yeah other than that though...Good Idea

Well were just starting so we don't wana put a sniper rifle in someones hands and them b impatient which is y im gettin a g3 so we hav som range but i think sidearms are a wast bcuz ull spend a 120 dollars on a pistol but i just get extra mags which r like 12 bucks

Sounds good..I would say don't use all the same weapons..might get a bit boring..and its nice to individualize your own wep.

As for the role of a sniper in airsoft...yeah thier not killing machines, thier mainly used for scouting and if seriously needed delaying tactics. A airsoft sniper is not marked by skill with his rifle but by his ability to conceal himself..and in my opinion thats the mark of a superiour player. (if you didnt catch it I recomend having a good scout :p )

The reason for a sidearm is not you running out of ammo, it is if your rifle jams, a fuse blows..or your battery goes dead and you forgot your replacement, it allows you to continue play till you can repair your rifle.

The best thing you could do for now is set up a nice chain of command, and get yourself some radios and a throat mike, our affialate site TASS (Link is it the user bar) has some great recomendations for start up gear, heres the link to the page and some good articles to read.
