uniform

well my teams uniform is desert tiger stripe, we are only required to have the pants, so instead of a bdu top i want to get a soft shell jacket. i'm looking at some on evike, and ebay. evike has one with no hood(tan) for 45 while ebay has two with hoods one in black and one in od. i'm running with a coyote tan plate carrier and i was wondering would od or black mix well with dts(desert tiger stripe) or the black one because i want the hood one so i can use it also when it rains. or should i get the tan one with no hood.

Edit:nvm guys..I did a bit more searching and i found a hooded one in tan. the only thing is can someone help me with asian sizes like how to find out which one is my size. I wear medium in shirts and jackets

quick question for you, Reaper: If I remember correctly, you live in the Dallas area, sooooo....... why would you ever need to wear a jacket, and especially in this time of the year?

I'm not near dallas. i'm near the border of mexico. and the weather gets weird here, like we just got a bunch of rain. I also don't really like the bdu top.

Ah, my apoligies, kind sir. Have you looked into TRU Combat Shirts? They come in Desert and Woodland MARPATs, Multicam, ACU, CB, Black, OD, Navy Blue, and Old Woodland.

I second the combat shirts...great thing to have in a "shifty" environment.
They breath REALLY well, yet have enough thermal to keep you cozy when things get cold/wet.

Thats a viable option for you.

Don't mention it! I had the chance to check out one last weekend, and the torso is actually just t-shirt material. Before, I had thought it was some sort of stretchy material. Just letting you know, haha. I'm going to be picking some of those up pretty soon.
