| Umm split the teams up by camo patterns, that will make it so people wont ask to be on one team. IE. Green vs. Tan camo or Black vs. Camo
Umm make sure your medic rules or death rules are simple like one shot your dead.
add in objectives to make it go planned and not some free for all.
FPS limit things, to make sure people don't get hurt.
Make a liability weaver saying the hosts/owners of the field aren't responsible for any injuries.
The'res a few I can think of of the top of my head.

| Start small, simply said.
Get a small skirmish together, publish online, and make sure there are enough interested players in your area before planning something supermondo (I'm californian, we can use that word).
If small events aren't behoov-ing enough, then go bigger. But I'd start small.

| Be structured! That was the biggest waste of time at OP: Continuation III. We'd have to wait for up to 45 mikes between games sometimes because people were screwing around and wouldn't listen to the event organiser. (Of course, one of these breaks was because somebody handcuffed a minor with police-issue cuffs as a joke and lost the keys, so we all had to pitch in to get them off).
Establish your Minimum Engagement Distances (MEDs) straight off. Make sure everyone knows what to do and what they should do if something goes wrong. Establish rules regarding vehicles, headshots, etc. etc. Make it a safe but fun game.

| do some objective games what my team does is we do bomb planting and diffusing we stack a pile of bricks get a case with a fire cracker and make a really big fuse for the fire cracker and to plant we open the case put it on the pile of bricks and light the fire cracker and to diffuse we just stomp out the fire cracker or just throw it, its a really fun type of game we've been playing that all day today | |

| you could do simple attack and defend scenarios also you'll need some sort of story for your "OP" i.e. the terrorists have seized a small arms cache in a bunker and have a bomb set up inside the bunker and are planning to blow it, if they succeed they will cripple nation X's army the counter terrorists have infiltrated very close to the bunker and must secure and defuse the bomb in the bunker. (as everyone said lay down some rules) T must defend the bunker for 30 minutes, after 30 minutes the bomb explodes (if bomb explodes terrorists win) CT must sieze and secure the bomb for 3 minutes in order to win (1 ct must have their hand/foot/tongue/finger/hair/something on it at all times)(after 3 minutes the counter terrorists win) MED - 10 feet pistols/semi auto only inside buildings (the bunker) fps limit 375 headshots only if its the only body part visible unlimited respawn pretty simple scenario i say, it can be done with 10-20 people easily.
this is what i basically thought off the top of my head. its missing a lot of components. but this a basic outline for an "OP' i suppose

| great tips guys, thx. here's what I was thinking (this is without a made up scenario). the ranch has a camp cabin near the entrace and, maybe six or seven miles further in, a hunting cabin. team 1 stays at the camp cabin (which doubles as their respawn point). team 2 stays at the hunters cabin (not nescassarily their respawn point). each team gets a truck. team one has 36 hours to get to the hunter's cabin and plant a bomb there. team two must defend it along the road there are objectives. i.e. secure the river crossing, secure the dear blind, secure the gate. at each objective there is a flag. team one must get the flag back to their truck to take the objective. once team one has captured all the flags at all the objectives, they put them into a bag and this becomes the bomb that must be planted outside the hunter's cabin. when a player from team one is hit, they must go sit in the truck and wait until the driver takes everyone back to the camp cabin to respawn. when a player from team two is hit, they go back to their truck, wait for one minute, and then they may rejoin the battle once team one has captured a flag from one objective, team two must retreat to the next objective
other than that, we already have rules set up that we use every time we play. how's that sound?

| That sounds great! Maybe there shouldn't be an oder of objectives. Just that team 1 has to do complete all objectives. That way there is a bit more strategy thrown in. | |

That way there is a bit more strategy thrown in. yeah, but our squads aren't big enough to spread out over multiple objectives. they would get creamed if they spread out like that. but we do need to go out to the ranch and start brainstorming. pm me with some dates (after mid july).
